I would like for there to be some progression with the group as a whole, but it seems it's going to take a much more generic slice-of-life approach. As expected.
But dang, I like that song.
Is this any good, or rather would i enjoy it? (knowing my tastes)
SAO looks pretty good, i just saw the first ep, i think i'll keep watching

SAO has a great first episode, but so far the other episodes have left me dissapoint.
Tari Tari is a bit slow/too SoL for my taste perhaps, but ep6 was great.

So, I just finished FS/N (really liked) and need a new visual novel to read. Any recommendations? The muv-luv ones seem interesting but there are too many of them and i don't know what one comes first ?-?.

Download muv-luv first. It goes Muv luv extra-Unlimited-Alternative. Muv luv is muv luv extra and unlimited. You will have to download alternative as a individual game unlike the first two

SAO is so weird. I don't know if it didn't live up to my expectations, or even if I had any. But the first episode was just somehow better than the others... It doesn't seem to have any sense of continuity. Ep.1 ---> Nice intro Ep.2 Floor Boss Ep.3 Christmas special? Ep.4 Kawaii loli episode? Ep5. Murder part1? What exactly am I watching here? Where's the main plot? How do these side stories relate to the main plot? Somehow, someway I feel disappointed.

Hurry up and read them. Don't be afraid of using the ctrl key during Extra, though.
Though, you reminded me of that I should properly finish all of F/SN, still haven't finished HF... I got sidetracked.
Considering starting to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes, though 110 episodes of "old" anime is slightly intimidating since I know I'm a whiny little bitch when it comes to old animation styles. Oh well, better get started, 110 episodes to go...

I don't think a single person on IRC has dared to say that LoGH is bad. You should def watch it.

The side stories were written with the mindset that they were alluded to in the main storyline, and are essentially supposed to be development points for the characters (Episode 3 especially, while episodes 4 and 5 are just events that develop the world as a whole). Personally, I feel that the show hasn't exactly met expectations, since there's a lot of stuff being left out (and it doesn't quite capture certain aspects that I thought were important, but oh well). The definitely do relate to the main plot (or at least the main character), but it doesn't seem too continuous at this point.

What you're watching is side stories
The main story literally goes from Opening day -> Floor 74 to 75
Then he came back and he did other shit,

Learn to spoiler?
But yeah side stories are side stories, they just didn't put in any effort to make things make sense. Why put effort when you can just abridge stories and animate them without giving a fuck about continuity?

SAO Anime
+ Show Spoiler +Basically, most of the episodes now are just side stories which are from SAO LN Volume 2.They cut some major part especially about Klein fighting the leader of some guild if i am not mistaken. Actually they kind of fucked up the plot progression because like you said it doesn't have a sense of continuity.People who read the LN will understand what is going on but most of the people who are fresh and dived straight into the anime will be a bit dumbfounded about the plot progression since they are jumping here and there.IMO They starting to messed up the plot.At least now it's still not that bad YET.
If you want to have a better understanding of the current anime, read up the LN of Vol.1 and 2 of SAO. Well if you are prepared to read it then prepared to be spoiled by spoilers. http://www.baka-tsuki.org
P.S Is Kokoro Connect good? I heard ton of good stuff about this anime in this forum? Should i go for it?Give me a basic rundown of it's plot?

Just watched the first 4
I'm really enjoying it, maybe its better if you watch it in one go like i did?
The setting is really cool even if the plot is weak, so you kinda get sucked in easily

Well, if you finished FS/N, it's as good a time as any to start on F/Z and Kara no Kyoukai

I actually enjoyed LoGH anime alot more than the novel, which is a rarity. Though not much enjoyment after + Show Spoiler +

What you mentioned about Klein was actually a super minor detail that doesn't even matter, they did cut a lot of other shit from that episode's source though. But yes, they are basically fitting side stories in for the sake of having them without trying to make continuity work.
The sad thing is that they do have the option to make things link together a bit better just by doing super random side stories from web and the author's doujin releases, instead they just want to cram more books in.

A selfless dude that wants to help everyone and some other guy that hasnt gotten much attention yet. Basically they switch bodies and personalities at random moments and time. Its pretty good so far imo, especially ep5 where stuff gets a little more serious. Perhaps im saying too much already. Tldr: i recommend you watch it.
