That said, I have to say I'm not a fan of the BETA designs I've seen so far... doesn't bother me very much but if they look the same in the TE anime, I think its gonna look pretty bad. Also, they were in episode 1, and looked how they look in the VN. You probably just didn't notice them because you weren't looking at the right parts. So I want to get into watching some anime over the summer since, well, I'm bored and I never had the time to watch anime until now. The thing is, I don't have the time to catch up on animes that are like, really super long and have been out for years (Naruto, Bleach and One Piece come to mind). I respect that there are great "classic" animes out there, but catching up of several years and seasons of a show is quite a daunting task and something that I really am not up for. With that being said, anyone got any suggestions on where to start or what to watch? I like mini-series stuff. I've only really watched two animes before. One was Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (my ex-girlfriend made me watch it with her. It was pretty good.) and the other was Mawaru Penguin Drum (sister made me watch it with her. I liked it). These two have impressed me so I was looking into watching some more stuff. Cheers! and Thanks in advance. :D | ||

Saki doesn't take itself very seriously... it's like watching standup and complaining that there's not enough cohesiveness between the funny stories. It's not what it's going for. Now, you can complain about the genre, you can dislike it, but it sort of is what it is. This season, so unexpectedly good. It was really funny imo. Some nice references too. Rewatched ep1 of MLA:TE + Show Spoiler + Yup there was BETA on screen, and yup they looked like in the VN. Also recognized Yuuhi this time, yay. Still looking forward to the massacre, some of those girls were annoying :D them talking about random stuff during the 8 minute rule lecture makes me wanna see them get owned, lol. They sucked so hard during their training, they aint gonna survive anywhere near 8 minutes... oh and maybe it's just because I've played the VN but this time I wasn't as bothered by the skintight suits. | ||
