Senko no Night Raid has potential, considering Sora no Woto was the first series under that project, bash the art of that all you will, it isn't a moeblob in content. Bones + Stan Lee sounds cool. Hakuouki was apparently pretty big as a game, no idea about quality. Bunch of novel and manga based ones that I've heard of and never read...well, it does look better than Winter. Now for someone to pick up Zaregoto and Ningen series, come on, people did Bakemonogatari and Katanagatari already.

I wasn't particularly excited personally till beta was confirmed, to be honest, it isn't like I'll run out of reading materials ![]() Planetarian has little chances of seeing animation, but I'd love LB animated. On a mostly unrelated note, but I just have to bring it up as the entire issue enrages me, and I think would make for some good discussion, but would ultimately turn into a shitstorm, Christopher Handley was sentenced today. Won't go into the issue too much more, as this really isn't the topic, but he was sentenced to 6 months, and 8 years of probation/parole/supervision after that.

Due to the scenery, the anime relied even more on them(characters)...and that wasn't a good decision. The thing they practiced most of the time, that wasn't Kendo. The names, equipment, rules were right, but that's it. The characters were slightly better(until they introduced some new ones) and they didn't even tried to have a plot. Because of that and their style(communicaton etc), it's an ok-anime. I would have explained it a lot more precisely but it's kinda hard to find the right words if you aren't a native speaker :/

I don't understand why people get all uptight about animes when they don't do [insert my favorite past time here] perfectly. Then you go from saying it is 'awful' to it being 'ok'

Then you go from saying it is 'awful' to it being 'ok' The whole "plot" is centered around Kendo. It's not "merely a vehicle". They should just have named it differently, some imaginary sport would have been ok. But if they use the names and stuff, they should do it right. Otherwise they will insult the people who devoted a significant part of their life to this sport. ? Lucky Star is kinda ok, Bamboo Blade is awful.

K-On insults all guitar players, Saki insults all mahjong players, Cross Game insults all baseball players, Ippo insults all boxers etc. Don't be so uptight.
