Of course, this applies to other series with several hundreds of episodes as well... am I wrong? One Peice!!!!! Best manga out there. Fuck you ADT. Mutha fucking One Piece!!!! Oda god. This shit is porn I knew I'd get you to read it

Just started reading the One Piece manga(After watching the anime). It's so amazing the little details oda puts in this manga. Literally, there are things first mentioned in chapter 19 and 500 chapters later it's brought up again lol. Really shows oda knew exactly from the very beginning how the story would develop.
|
Eh not necessarily; optimistically, sure, but Oda could very well have just looked backwards from wherever in the story he was, and just could have used some of that past material. Of course it takes skill to incorporate things in this way as well but I doubt he had OP planned to the dot that much in advance on so many occasions.

Like for example in the first volume u see a younger Rayleigh and he isnt even introduced until years later
The only weak thing about one peice is its character depth

Yeah, OP is indeed really good. I've never liked his art style but that's a personal thing hehe. And yeah, a lot of the characters' qualities exist only for comedic relief and after we learn about their backstory, it's essentially the end of their development in terms of characterization. Sometimes he reveals more backstory though

But as for Chitanda, she has long straight hair that's still slightly unkempt and large wide eyes at have a sense of amazement at whatever they look at while her face is slightly ditzy but in a good way and is always cheerful. I also really liked Shaft's animation for Bakemonogatari...though...sometimes I did feel they were trying to be a bit too avant-garde, and it turned out sort of awkward/weird in several places imho. I personally didn't really like Mio though (not gonna lie, didn't really like any of the chars from K-On); it might be an instance where something is rather closely related to another, but just a few differences can endear one character to some people much more :x

Depends on how much focus on story it is and the number of endings. A good mystery is supposed to be difficult to put away, so Kara no Shoujo went very fast to read through (but I don't feel like going for additional endings now that everything is explained). More harem style vns like Kimi ga Nozomu Eien are a bit tedious with massive amount of routes, repeating main story and a language that takes more time to read. But then you can come back every once in a while and read through an arc.
Does anyone know how the other Innocent Grey vns are? I have finished some routes in Pianissimo and the setting is nice, but the story felt pretty meh.
