And my random browsing of 2ch has turned up this list of characteristics of two distinct types of anime otakus: From 2ch Type A: A person who simply enjoys “anime.” Is proud of Japan’s anime.  . I was randomly trolling 4chan, and some guy had posted that there. I found it funny.Oh yeah, the most recent Armed Librarians made my ears perk. It's like the director got off his ass and decided to make a fairly good anime. Not sure what happened there. As for the latest episode of Ookami Kakushi... AIC please do a better job... | ||

However, I can see the appeal of it since it is rather lighthearted, making it great for some light entertainment. Also, it is preety short (13 episodes) so I just might watch the entirety of it. | ||

Not a real fan of the proposed "Otaku categories" either. I know people who obsess over characters and moe, but also obsess over stuff like LoGH. I know I don't fit into either of those categories neatly.
