Maybe it's because none of the characters really resonated with me at all. I'm the opposite. I haven't watched Air yet, but I definitely prefer Clannad, if you include After Story, to Kanon. Though, you should reserve judgment until after you watch After Story. If we were to exclude After Story, I may prefer Kanon to it, as the ending of Clannad, while sweet, just left me kinda going meh. Clannad isn't complete until you've watched After Story. | ||

Apparently its japans version of lord of the rings.I found it pretty good for an adventure/action/fantasy. The character developement was good, action was nice, good animation and interesting story. Of course its meant for all ages, but I found it pretty girpping throughout the whole thing. Did anyone else like/dislike it? | ||

My roommate who really enjoys high fantasy watched most of it with me. I forgot why but we kind of stopped following it around episode 20. I thought it was okay, but not amazing. My main peeves were around the world (the anime at least didn't do a good job making it believable. how in tarnation does a medieval nation get that much steel? honestly they'd need an industrial base capable of... well the industrial freaking revolution.) and the character development (to be fair I haven't finished the show but... most of the characters aren't deep or evolving and explanation of motivations for most of them is brief at best.) Still, Guin's fight scenes were pretty fun to watch, and his whole unite-the-tribes arc was also entertaining. | ||

Anyway, I finally got around to completing Samurai Champloo. gave it an 8/10, would have been a 9 if it weren't for the 5 or so boring episodes. The series dragged on just a bit too long imo, 18 or so episodes would have been perfect. | ||
