I admit, I did not understand what was going on mostly throughout the whole series. You get these little blurbs of text floating onscreen every once in a while (Touya's thoughts supposedly) and you get hit with wave after wave of drama. At times, I was lost simply because the show transitioned between stories with the characters. Well, let's assume we completed the show and talk about the ending. Spoilers ahead, for those who still want to finish the show. + Show Spoiler + Touya's whole reason for the grief that's been built up throughout the entire series revolves around one incident that he couldn't remember. Yes, the tramautic event of pissing his pants in front of kids was so horrible, he had to block it out of his mind until the last episode. So, he's reconciled his problems with his goddesses, said his proper goodbyes, stopped seeing yayoi-san...then what? The ending confused me greatly. He confronts Haruka about the lost medallion with the "good job" and gets it back? What of his relationship with Yuki? They never even meet after the duet she sings with Rina Ogata. The little epilogue after the credits roll only show the departure of Mana, Menou, and their mother to move closer to Mana's college. Then, Touya is seen in a CD store where Rina and Yuki partner up in some new production company, and lastly Touya is seen walking down a set of steps...and waves to someone. You hear a chorus of voices from the goddesses calling out to Touya and BAM! The end. So the ending left me feeling like I got ripped off. I endured episode after episode of heavy anime soap opera for what, a 3 minute epilogue scene with a chibi high school girl? At least punish the main character for his pathetic display of pussy-whipped clinging to his so called "goddesses". I wasn't expecting a full fairy tale happy ending, but this? I just wish the show would've had a better closure. Or maybe it had the perfect closure and I missed the clues along the way. Oh well, I'm just glad it's over with. | ||

I see they really kept to Take's original art style, still have no freaking clue why Togame's eyes are drawn the way they are, but just as well. Poor her though, her title is kind of hard to translate, schemer? lol Actually one more thing that's slightly a shame, they kept too closely to the original illustrations, I wanted to see Togame's outfit in its full, 12(*2) layer style glory. Complete with a ton of random jeweleries and decorations. | ||
