Personally I think Naruto isn't far behind Bleach in ending. After this war ends I really can't see any additional conflict happening. This war arc, then some sort of cleanup arc (ending the Sasuke conflict, etc), and then an ending arc should be all that's left.

Bleach should have died a long time ago.

hahahaha oh Nagisama, you are a genius. As unintentional as it was, calling her death right before the ep is impressive. When I first read your post, I realized it wasn't completely unreasonable and now here we are: a dead hare Hare. Although I'm a little sad her death ended up having the effect of causing Shu to go all evil rather than simply manning up, which will inevitably lead to a bitch slap where he realizes he was wrong and this isn't what Hare would've wished for. I wouldn't mind him keeping that mindset when fighting though. Kind of funny when he was forcibly removing Inori's void.

Also, I heard hare's boobs go pretty well with Shu's face. On a more serious note this episode had some pretty good character development. Hare with her confession and Shu realizing hes so easily bent like a bendy straw. Totally predicted hare to be the sacrificial lamb- booyah

Anyone else laughed their ass off when Hare exploded into a million pieces and then it sounded like Shu was choking on a slinky? I quite like Psycho Shu, give that punk souta the beating hes been waiting for!

OK well Hare's death was expected, and Shu's reaction was also expected.

So I was right about the Gundam Seed Destiny-eque plot. Shu is definitely going to label the students by ranks of their Voids now.... which is exactly what Scarface wanted.

god gc is so bad... Everything feels so forced and random and the characters are all so shitty. Like when shu says "hes gonna become king", completely random and awkward. However when Light, or even lelouch say the same thing it feels natural because their characters are actually somewhat developed. Idk about you guys but this show feels like a troll

I totally disagree. The question here is what constitutes a "king".

Hare envisioned Shu being a kind king who is powerful but at the same time cares about others. Shu, on the other hand, was conflicted over this issue before Hare's death (e.g. his ambiguous opinion about the Void Ranking System, his opinions about Gai, etc.).

Now, however, Shu is definitely NOT the person Hare envisioned - he is angry and cruel. For a second there I thought he was going to pull out Yahiro's Void and kill Souta. In any case, he is misusing the word "king" here.

I think a major thesis of this show will be how a person with power (e.g. Shu) can act like a leader or a "king". A leader is not someone who is utilitarian because such a person is unable to push the team forward; on the other hand, ruling with tyranny will get the leader overthrown. There is a very dedicate balance there. Given Shu's personality, I feel that he will probably try to strike a balance eventually, but feeling guilty about it over all.

I think Shu is a good protagonist. He is not a good person to have this power.

His struggles are purely on moral issues. Like I have pointed out, Shu doesn't (or maybe I should say didn't) want to be what he thinks is a bad person. He questions if Gai's manipulative ways were correct; he questions if the Void Ranking System is correct.

He is a very different person from Light and Lelouch. Light is basically a very cruel person with big ego; Lelouch is a bit more complicated - but overall he is goal-oriented. Shu, however, has no long-term goals, has no vision; although he holds great power he is not going anywhere. I think this is why people find him frustrating to watch, because it is very difficult to like such an ambivalent character.

I wonder what those red eyes are. Neither of Mato, Yomi, Kotari, nor Kagari have red eyes.

Also Yomi needs to show Kagari who is boss, lol. I wonder if Yomi has more reasons than guilt (something to do with Kagari's legs) to put up with Kagari.
