When I'm town I always take at least one mafia with me.
When I'm mafia I can usually save some of my other mafia when I die or out cop or doctor.
When I'm town power we're always fucked LOL.
Also watching is fun so I don't mind dying so early.

yea Im hoping ill have time aswell soonish, I usually just custom sometimes with my friends who are masters/diamond players and do decently. Havent laddered in ages.

First off, the series is much longer, and the Rebuild Movies are incomplete.
Second. The series is considered by some to be a classic, and it is really influential as an anime. I personally really disliked the series, for the most part. However, other people swear by it. My main problem with the series is with the characters, and how pretty much every single one of them is completely unlikable. Shinji, the main character, and the development (lol) he goes through is actually very realistic, and what you would expect would happen to a normal kid thrust into that situation. But IMO it was still very frustrating to watch. The anime is considered to be psychological, since it deals with a ton of things dealing with the mindsets and mental states of the characters as the series progresses. Also, the anime's ending is completely retarded, however it is "fixed" with the End of Evangelion movie.
The 2 Rebuild Movies out so far more or less cover a good deal of the series, but eventually diverges. The first movie is more or less like the first half of the show, but prettier, and the characters are slightly more likable. The second movie diverges a ton from the series, introduces a new character, and many things occur differently. Again, the characters are much more likable. But at the same time, for better or worse, it loses the character realism that the series had. And while the Rebuild movies do have the same psychological elements that the series had, it isn't to the same extent.
I would personally say watch the Rebuild Movies, and wait for Rebuild 3.0 with Pirate Asuka to come out whenever it does, and say that anyone who likes the series has shittaste. Other people, like Shauni, would say that the series is much better and you should watch that.

If you're willing to wait go with 1.0, 2.0 and the rest once they air rather than the serie or old recap movies. I've seen the serie couple times and it's indeed considered a classic but the new movies are better and at the very least have much higher entertainment value if nothing else (imo). Otherwise go with the TV serie I suppose.
Also out of curiousity as I have a bad habit of letting animes pile up in my folders while I keep downloading more.

Yet to watch that I've downloaded? Probably like a couple gigs. If I download something, I watch it, or am planning to watch it really soon. So right now only like, Karas is actually downloaded that I haven't watched.

I'm going to say 26-50GB, because I have 3 MSG movies, CCA and slowly downloading Z atm. Only versions of these I could find are Bluray remastered versions, so they're pretty large in file sizes.

Also, I almost always delete anime after watching it, so I only have like...30gb? Not on my comp atm so I can't check. I only keep anime I really liked and feel have good rewatch value.
