His reaction was almost purely emotional and trying to maintain his status quo of having no interest in real women, but I think we've all noticed he's slowly becoming interested in real girls, and that's what he's trying to deny and why he was so harsh to Chihiro. In a sense, he's being tsundere for reality. This chapter was actually full of all kinds of different things between Chihrio, Keima, and Ayumi. Still cheering for Ayumi though | ||

Plus guns>swords. yea I always felt like Ga Rei (the manga) atleast was really run of the mill shonenesque (which isnt a bad thing it was nice), anime would probably have been similar if it hadnt been for the angst and the Yuri, which is significantly tempered later on. Id take Black Lagoon over that for an action show anyday (yea ok the Roberta arc is a bit farcical) but for the most part with all the other faults it might have I certainly wouldnt call the characters not interesting.
