Ciel is a terrible character/tsundere, and if someone was going to mention a Tsukihime Tsundere, it should be Akiha. Lol, who talks about Tsukihime, I'm talking about Black butler. Congrats, you just made the irc channel do a collective take because no one would've thought of Kuroshitsuji if you didn't specify. WoW, then how come something as obsolete as Tsukihime would jump out? I'd think unless you are used to talking to fujoshi, Tsukihime is by far a more memorable franchise than BL bait. overall--yes, interms of tsunderes, Ciel in black butler is way more impressive. Any Tsukihime fan should not mistaken Ciel in Tsukihime as an example for tsunderes, and should know that must be somebody else.
Can someone explain how Ciel in black butler is an example of a Tsundere? o_o

I've been a huge Berserk fan for a while now and have recently started looking for more dark fantasy/seinen/adventure/action mangas and so far have discovered and finished reading Ubel Blatt which was great but seems to suffer from the same disease as Berserk, aka new chapters once in a year. Currently reading Shin Angyo Onshi which turned out to be much better than I expected, my first manhwa actually.
Next I'l probably read Claymore although I've already seen the anime. Other two options are Drifters and Dorohedoro. I don't know much about these two as I only found them thanks to playing with search engines but former is from Hellsings creator so it should be pretty awesome. Dorohedoro on the other hand mostly looks really weird.
Any recommendations on which I should read first or any other similar mangas around? Also I've already read Vagabond, Blade of the Immortal and Vinland Saga so those won't do. Adolf should come first, all hail the vintage masterpiece.
When looking up which one you were referring to I found this hidden gem.

Legendary Super Aryan kind a cracked me up. Anyway Drifters first it is.

I've been reading just like you. Drifters is pretty good, but they haven't really explained some of the plot. Claymore was fantastic for me. I just read Vinland Saga a week ago and that was awesome, until+ Show Spoiler +the MC suddenly stopped fighting . The only thing I can recommend right now would be The Ravages of Time. This manga is about medieval China pretty much. Different warlords are fighting for the imperial throne. There are lots of battle and strategy so far. It's almost like LoGH in manga form in medieval China. The Chinese names are confusing though. I can't even memorize the Chinese names of some of my friends. >.>

I still don't know how I feel about C3. I'm not really a fan of the characters or the character designs, but somehow... I keep wanting to see the next episodes.

+ Show Spoiler [Yankee-kun to Megane-Chan] +Yankee-kun to Megane-Chan
Ok If you have been on IRC recently, you'd probably have seen me randomly screaming every 5 minutes, chances are i was reading this. Basically i started reading this cause i was bored as hell, recommended by spazer. At first glance, the premise is interesting and the art is good and hilarious. As I read on, I also learned that the author is pretty fucking good. Can't really elaborate since i don't want to spoil it. There was maybe 1 or 2 arcs that weren't as good as the others but overall it was real good. Gonna give some numbers: Story: 8 Its like pretty good, author uses some techniques and literally fucks your mind. Art: 9 The faces and reactions are pretty hilarious, and the characters look good. Characters: 9 These characters are ridiculous Enjoyment: 9 I keep screaming, this author is ridiculous Overall: 9 Getting real lazy, but basically if you like comedy, and you have some time definitely worth your time.

I just watched EP3 Mirai Nikki + Show Spoiler + Good lord how the EP went in a complete 180. Went from pretty light into super-mega-creepy. I want to know what's in that room. I want to know what the fuck is up with her aside from being yandere. I want to know why everyone's future diaries went ape shit bananas. I'm hooked.

OMG I have never been much of an anime guy beyond Cowboy Bebop dubs, but damn son! I just started watching one piece, and I'm at the beginning of the Grand Line, just after Whiskey Peak.
SHIT IS INTENSE.
Very few things have been able to tear me away from my SC2 addiction, and this (combined with the manga) is like crack cocaine.
AHHHHHHHHHHH

So like.. this Horizon show... does it make any sense for anyone?

Other than the two who actually read the books, probably not. Wala only seem more confused as explanations piled up.

AHHHHHHHHHHH Whiskey Peak? You are still very early into it. You haven't even gotten to the best parts yet! Just wait till you get to the episodes around the 300 mark...

So, I finally decided to watch Haibane Renmei. I'm really glad I did. + Show Spoiler +Although I felt that after Reki had her Day of Flight, everything shown afterwards was almost pointless to show. We already get the impression that life would just go on, and ending the show on a dramatic scene, rather than trailing off with meaningless "happily ever after" scenes feels like they lessen the impact of Reki leaving.
I also would have liked if they'd explained more about the world itself, but at the same time, I feel that the show would have had to be completely different if they did that, and I'm perfectly fine with things the way they are.
Overall the show felt like it had good pacing, the art was beautiful, the music fit perfectly, and while none of the music really stood out, it all fit together perfectly for a subdued atmospheric role. Even the opening and ending contributed to the subdued slightly nostalgic feeling of the show, which is something I like, compared to shows that decide to flaunt that they are dramatic by plastering us with some opening or ending designed to be over the top in the drama. You'd never guess what the show was about, just watching the opening (though with the lyric of the ending, you could figure out that it was going to have some drama.)
Either way, yet another great show that managed t bring a tear to my eyes... I'm such a sucker for emotional anime...
Still waiting for GotWoot's 10-bit Mirai Nikki EP3 release... I should go watch the episodes of Chihayafuru and Tamayura~hitotose~ and Mashiroiro Symphony (LAWL) I've downloaded but not watched.

AHHHHHHHHHHH One Piece is the best shounen ever written in my opinion. It's really just got everything you could want in one and continues to top itself.
Also, I'm curious as to what people in this thread think of Cowboy Bebop. I enjoyed it for sure but I never understood why people thought it was so great.

+ Show Spoiler + Anyone who did not read the manga or skip into the last 5 min not counting the ED song just got super played. And he said during their mini date she looks cuter than normal today! Hah! Troll. I wonder if what's in her room are super old corpses of her parents? And if it's something totally unexpected, I wouldn't be surprised. Yay for 180 spin!
