I said nothing about Rider being unattractive, and you are right that one would have to be crazy to think so. I'm just saying absurdly long hair is not as attractive as moderately long hair.

I really like True Tears. The drama had a very realistic feel to it and while overdone at times, the characters are all portrayed pretty well in those situations. Also, + Show Spoiler + the long haired girl wins over the short haired girls. no better ending than that.

ehh, however classy my writing may come off as, I have a limited imagination. Or rather, I need inspiration to write and can't come up with this stuff off the top of my head. But as for your line, perhaps something like "I wanted to call out to her, but all the words I wished to speak were forgotten as I became lost in her eyes which carried an explainable sadness in them."

To be honest, Hiromi (the girl voiced by Kaori Nazuka) was pretty annoying at times. But hey, she's beautiful with that long hair (and voice).
