Senjougahara is one of the examples of a tsundere done right. She was hilariously amazing.

Also, Nisemonogatari! Wooo! Take that Ecael! Your the one that said Bakemonogatari should of been a stand alone anime but if that were the case we wouldnt never of had Nisemonogatari.
The context is kinda important zzz. I said that Bake was perfectly fine as a standalone and that Kizu was not necessary because someone suggested that the characters needed more background information and clearer settings. The point was that hidden information in Bake was perfectly acceptable, not that I don't want more work in the series.
At that, considering that Tsukihi is currently my #2 favorite character in the series (tied w/ Shinobu at 2&3), not getting Nise and the following books are a loss.

Gahara-san is tsundere if you consider tundra tsun, maybe. And as far as yuri goes, Gahara-san is a better example of that than Kanbaru ever was. As for the pictures, Gahara-san cuts hair at end of vol 1, Hachikuji no image change, the bikinitop is Kanbaru who has been growing her hair out, hairband is Nadeko who tries to seduce Araragi with her forehead (or not really but I can't even spoil this with any coherence) and Hanekawa cutted her hair at the end of bake.

Again only if tundra is tsun, Gahara-san is amazing more because of that yandere-esque insanity. Or rather, extreme logic.
I think I might've kind of stated my opinions about how Nise would turn out on an irc rant, but I guess I'll summarize it here too.
Problem w/ Nise is that it is 2 stories divided across 12(+?) episodes, Bake was 5 across 15. This leads to a lot more random bantering. While the 2 vols of nise were shorter than the 2 vols of bake, the amount of real content just isn't enough really. Either they need to do a really good job storyboarding this and varying it from how the LNs went or hope that people would accept the formula of longer pointless banter comedy and shorter actual story. While that worked for the LNs, I am not sure how it'll work out in anime form without getting pretty tedious.
Another thing. While the 'focus' of Nise is on the fire sisters, the real focus of the 2 vols are on Gahara-san and Araragi+Shinobu respectively, best if people don't get their hopes up. Also means I don't really get much Tsukihi till nekomonogatari if they ever air that, afk finding a corner to cry at.

Kizu might not have been neccessary, but it was still kinda nice to have it.
Besides how many people can say they saw a hot blond chick without any limbs and decided they were going to let her suck them dry because life is balls.

To state my position again, I am not saying that bake shouldn't get sequels/prequels, but rather that it was fine self-contained. People were saying they want more background information, I am saying that the said information doesn't really have any impact on the theme of bake.
