It's right here.

I think you mean the 7th?
It's not out yet.
Social Justice is a fools errand. May all the adherents at its church be thwarted. Of all the religions I have come across, it is by far the most detestable.

Wait...5 is Spiral Paradox, right?

And this 6th one is the one that opened in theaters earlier this year?

EDIT
Yeah, I was talking about sixth. Thanks.

It may be sad, but it's also amazing and incredibly well done.

Yeah, I watched After Story as well. The series was so good as a whole, that I'm seriously thinking about looking into the visual novel when I have some free time.

I've managed to dig out the Visual Novel and english translation from the internet, and I have to say, IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!! No really, lots of stuff that wasn't in the anime, more hilarious lines involving Sunohara being beaten up and much more. And they have the gym storage room scene for more characters XD. Also, try to find every character's route before doing Fuko's and Nagisa's. Do Nagisa's last. There's also a plot not in the anime following a guy named Hiiragi Kappei. That's good too. All in all, it is great.

Be sure to get the visual novel for School Days too. Packed with all sorts of goodies.

You mean eroge, school days is 18+. Adult contents. Visual novel tends to suggest that it is all-age. That said, I don't know about what "goodies" it has really, if the aim is to play eroge with good content, I can think of a ton more, albeit not fully animated.

Kappei was an excellent route, largely because we get rid of Ryou. Yay, no more annoying sister. Also, should note the laser tag variations previous to the baseball episode.

Speaking of the baseball episode, we can't not mention Mei. Batting .75, saving errors, and just owning it up. We need a Clannad 2, and she needs to be the main character.

I usually end up ignoring most of the eroge content because they pale in comparison to the epic storyline that's been set up. Some good ones that fall into that category are Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two. (Pretty damn good), Kanon (fully completed just last month), and Air). Some good work safe ones are: Little Busters!, Kana: Little Sister (PLAY IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY and if it doesn't make you cry you're a monster), True Rememberance, Saya no Uta, and Higurashi/Umineko.

Also OMGWTFOTL for the kicks ^_^

You playing through atlas I assume? A good amount of those things don't have English patches afaik, if LB or LB! Ex has one out though please let me know, have a friend that'd appreciate it a lot. I don't think anyone needs to lecture the t-m fanboy of this thread, me, about how good their work is In terms of big names you got like most of it heh, if you still want more, try out Akabee-soft2's games, particularly gsen and sharin no kuni. Just woke up here so a tad bit lazy to dig through my memory, but there are some really good reading in this area.

Just adding to the quote chain. I installed Clannad a couple days ago, and agree (with the quote quoting me a few up), it's awesome. I've only played a route or two so far, but I'm enjoying it just as much as I enjoyed the anime, if not more, since I actually get a choice as to where the story goes. Though if I understand everything I've read correctly, the After Story portion of the game only covers Nagisa's route, with the other characters making appearances depending on your choices, which is a bit of a bummer. Though I guess there is the Tomoyo game that isn't fully translated yet. I like Tomoyo a lot, and it's the second route I took (after the short Misae), so I'll check it out once it's fully translated, because if I were to say I'm checking it out now, I'm sure my motives would be suspect. But really though, I hope the translation makes good progress, as I really would like to continue the story.

I'll have to check School Days out sooner or later. I'm still rather new to visual novels (eroge included), but I've enjoyed the few I've played immensely. Fate/Stay Night was lengthy and had a great story. I just wiped my hard drive, so I lost my save file, but I had completed the first two paths, and was eventually going to go back for the third. I have less motivation to do so now, but I'm sure I could find a save file somewhere. That and when I was addicted to True Love when I was 12 or so pretty much make up my experience. And the Katawa Shoujo demo, I guess you could include.

Nagisa's route is true route, a fair amount of times when companies make multi-routed games they will add content after completion to indicate which route would be considered as canon. Everyone more or less show up in some way, except I think maybe Kotomi. Tomoyo After's translation has been stalled for a while iirc, but imo that was way better than the true route...well I am also heavily biased against Nagisa.

School Days...meh, I really can't say much about it, there is a lot of drama involved, good and bad. I mostly took the latter F/SN was good, though I never understood people's like of Fate, considering UBW and HF was way better constructed. One of those Type-moon thing about riding the sheer popularity of the main heroine perhaps. Though in terms of T-M, I have to say, Tsukihime=Kagetsu Tohya > Hollow >>> F/SN, if we really need to insert rakkyo I'd say slightly better than the first two. Kohaku and her sheer genius is just too much to be denied even if she never managed to beat Arc in popularity polls.

Yeah, I know they usually choose one route to be canon, it's just a shame that Nagisa was chosen. And while they went that way with the anime, I was hoping the VN would be different, since they actually had some fleshed out routes for the other heroines. I guess that would have made the game quite a bit longer, though.

As for F/SN, as mentioned, I've only played Fate and UBW. Definitely preferred UBW, but that's mainly because I went into the game not knowing much of anything about it. I expected it to be a standard VN experience, where you could choose your routes right from the start, so I almost immediately set Rin as my choice, and went through quite a bit of Fate with that mindset.

I actually prefer Nagisa to most of the other girls. I guess it's just a personal choice but I don't like Kotomi that much, I heartily dislike Fuko, not interested in Yukine, and don't like Tomoyo as much as nagisa. Kyou's good too, just not Ryou. Hiiragi Kapei's route was one of the most interesting imo, maybe because I hadn't seen it in the anime before. Sunohara would've been good if I hadn't seen it already.

There's a Tomoyo game? Ooh, can't wait for it to be translated, if it ever finishes translating.

I'm going to start watching Fate Stay Night soon and wondering where to find the game. I guess I can go back to this thread for the translation but I'm not sure where to get the game itself. Is it available for free downlod somewhere or do I have to buy it on Ebay or elsewhere?

Rakkyo ep6 was amazing in the sense that we practically removed Shiki from the anime and it still went on fine. I suppose that particular chapter was uniquely suited to do something like that, but it is still quite a feat.

Bowman, you don't like Kotomi, am not interested in Yukine, and don't like Tomoyo as much as Nagisa? I thought we could get along Tomoyo After was an excellent game, if you are lucky, the 10th anniversary version will see translation instead of the original PC version.

F/SN...ebay will be hard, you are better off going Japanese site/yahoo.jp auction/rakuten -> Japanese proxy shipper -> wherever you are. I don't quite like to promote piracy, but it is kind of more practical here. Try just googling for f/sn and English patch, I suppose, should happen upon something eventually. Worst comes to worst go to hongfire.com.

Aers, can you pm me with a rough idea what they changed? I really don't think I like the series enough to watch without some significant changes.

I'm a bigger fan of Kyou* and Tomoyo than Nagisa, but I feel she and Tomoya work much better together than any other pairing.

Currently powering through Angelic Layer and Myself; Yourself. Not sure what to watch next, but I suppose there's always something. I hear MSLN is just "shounen with eye candy" and that it's initial premise is a generic CCS clone, but I don't know much about it. Is it worth watching?

What the hell, Crest and Banner of the Stars, if you watched it, watch it again.

Crest and Banner are both solid as hell. Though Banner 3 was just a short OVA and I seriously doubt a Banner 4 is anywhere near in the works =(.

It's sad, they were so epic T_T

I'm going to start watching Fate Stay Night soon and wondering where to find the game. I guess I can go back to this thread for the translation but I'm not sure where to get the game itself. Is it available for free downlod somewhere or do I have to buy it on Ebay or elsewhere?

Tomoyo arc is almost as disheartening as After Story. Almost. Not quite. But almost. However, I wouldn't hold my breath for the English patch to be released. It's coming along... But relatively slowly.

Search harder for FSN. It's the internet.

Currently powering through Angelic Layer and Myself; Yourself. Not sure what to watch next, but I suppose there's always something. I hear MSLN is just "shounen with eye candy" and that it's initial premise is a generic CCS clone, but I don't know much about it. Is it worth watching?

MSLN? First time I've seen that abbreviation In any case, I guess you could watch it... It's gotten quite a fan gathering, but I'm not sure if that's really justified :/

Edit:

Well I found a torrent with the 62 TV episodes + ova 01-03, but it's on torrentleech :S

and I searched here and found a lot, don't know if they work.

There are 62 episodes. The first torrents don't even cover half of that, and the bottom torrents don't work. I would also caution you from providing direct links on here because some anime is licensed (like hunter x hunter), and I don't really know if that's allowed >.>

Just read the novel, Bakatsuki is apparently done with it. They got some hardcore people doing the translations too, I was so happy to check it and see Baronh.

You people think Tomoyo arc was sad, wait for Tomoyo After, especially 10th anniversary/ps2 version without h-scene distractions.

Ooops, I meant the Tomoyo After Story Arc. Now THAT was almost as sad.

Frankly, the entire involvement of a child did it for me. Other wise, I would have found the Tomoyo After Story Arc sadder.

And what are you talking about? The H-Scenes were the best part! Nothing says "OMG WHAT A GOOD STORY" like H-Scenes! /sarcasm

H-scenes are fine, if it helps sales I won't complain. We see Leaf just sticking them in there completely randomly at expected places without much of any reason. What the hell, after a while you get so used to the flow of events you know when to start holding ctrl and tab to something else

Oh nothing wrong, it was just what made the normal After Story sadder than the Tomoyo After Story for me.
