OreTsuba is kind of lacking a story but it doesnt look like a dedicated moeblob anime either so it makes me feel kinda awkward when watching it. I guess I will keep watching some more episodes and will decide then. Steins;Gate is just weird. I didnt expect much after Chaos;Head but somehow I feel S;G is even worse. C;H at least gave you the possibility to see the main characters thought process but S;G just throws random stuff at you without a chance to think about it yourself and it's just weird. For the sake of the hotty with the red hair and Kana Hanasawa I will keep watching it but so far I am not amused :/ | ||

S;G takes a while and requires acceptance of the mood and environment. Probably the biggest shocker is that none of the characters are what they LOOK, and much of the character build up hinges on this, culminating in some of the biggest, not even revelations but a struggle for the audience to look past the covers. On the character side anyways. S;G does a pretty bad job of categorizing itself, as it's a self-stated sci-fi mystery thriller, but in reality the mystery part is not very mystery, and it is far more a deep, elongated look at the psyche of one man. | ||

Do take note of the main character's voice, speech mannerism, and also notice all the details around that fight. | ||

Instead, she knew that with this last failure that he would have no choice but to move on, as the next year would be his last in university before he moved abroad. Ferrose wasn't looking forward to another year as a NEET, either. She had already spent the entire year being the butt of everybody's jokes-while all of her friends were already employed or at university, she instead was at home, taking care of various otaku figurines, many of whom were little girls. They called her a lolicon, which just wasn't true. They just couldn't understand her. Just like she couldn't understand Ecael. That passive face that never moved, an ice queen that was permafrosted. Nobody knew what Ecael was up to, not even their parents, as the room was locked up as tight as her lips. Those pale, yet striking lips... Ferrose shook her head. Ferrose knew a threat when she saw one, and opened wide as Ecael saw the sight and for the first time in her life widened her eyes in fright. This spurred Ferrose into action. "Chikan!" Ferrose cried as she took out her bag full of anime figurines and sent a roundhouse blow to the figure's face, knocking it off its stride and into a nearby brush. "Hurry!" she ordered as she grabbed Ecael's hand, a cold hand that caused Ecael to gasp as Ferrose accelerated down the otherwise deserted street, hoping to get to safety. When the adrenline wore off, Ferrose saw that they were back in front of their house-safety. Breathing heavily, she turned to Ecael and was about to lead her into the house when she noticed something very odd. Ecael was crying. "O-ONEE-SAN!" Ecael bawled as she leaped into Ferrose's arms, seeking to regain her sense of security, her mask all but shattered by the attacker. "ONEE-SAN DAISUKI!" she yelled in a fake Japanese tone that only foreigners obsessed with Japanese cartoons would use. "W-what is this?" Ferrose stammered as she blushed, her sister's sudden confession completely startling her. But the firm grip Ecael had on Ferrose's chest convinced her that there was only one thing that was left to do. The sudden energy that had filled her just then caused her knees to buckle, and before she knew it their lips were just a hair's width apart. We're family!" but the cries sounded hollow and Ferrose continued to pleasure her sister.
