There's probably some TSR stuff in there, but it shouldn't take too long to wrap up. If you're reading the novels (which you should be, since I'm pretty sure Sigma skips A Dancing Very Merry Christmas), TSR corresponds to Ending Day by Day parts 1 and 2.

Bear in mind that it's not my favorite favorite series. It's just my favorite recommendation series because it's good, it doesn't have that many anime tropes, and doesn't get too weird (eg. KnK), so it's very accessible for newcomers. really?I have recommended Baccano to a lot of friends and 70% of them dropped after the first episode. The weird storytelling is not so easy to follow for newcomers.

Madoka fits the description for a conceptual weapon lololololol. I still don't know what to make of Denpa Onna. The story itself is serious, and Erio's craziness has some sort of justification behind it, but everyone else's craziness just seems to be there for the sake of having more crazy people. That doesn't sit too well with me. Tamaizumi is currently my favorite character in Oretsuba. I like her personality. + Show Spoiler [pic] +

Every definition I've read of deus ex machina has had some new element (plot device) being pulled out of nowhere to fix everything. This fixed everything (in an admittedly fantastical way), but in no way was this some new, unexpected element out of left field. Hell, you can see from Gen's writing before the series even began hinting he might end it like this. So I can see complaining about the resolution being a bit too neat, but the DMs been warning you this could happen for the past 15 minutes. No matter what we do, we can't stop the universe from getting colder, either, and on the same principle. This world is only maintained in existence by a series of logical, common-sense processes; it can never escape the bondage of its physical laws. Therefore, in order to write a perfect ending for a story you must possess the power to break the chain of cause and effect, invert black and white, and act in complete contradiction to the rules of the universe. Only a heavenly and chaste soul, a soul that resounds with genuine praise for humanity, can save the story; to write a story with a happy ending is a double challenge, to the author's body as well as the mind. I mean c'mon.... I agree dude, what happened was heavily foreshadowed, everything Homura did allowed for it to happen, and it also depended on the main character asking for it in a certain way.

Most of my projects are getting wrapped up (just got two more papers to go), so I'm thinking of starting up a Baldr Sky read+play-through, although considering I'm running on a fresh start in hard mode and not going to allow myself to cheese through, a lot of it's going to be me cussing out the game and struggling (lol). I'd finish Cartagra but I dunno where TimeOut went and I feel odd finishing it without him. Is there any interest, and if so, what time/day would be good?

As said I'm not here to make people pissed at me, but when someone says a anime got cancelled because it sucked when at the time it had more viewers than Naruto (Which is horrendous at the moment, but it still got a ton of views) but rather because the studio didn't keep their promises (so they didn't get a new contract) to pick it up when the manga had pulled ahead again. Because the reason it got put on hold was because they didn't want to do fillers while the manga pulled ahead again, you just have to correct them.

Still a bit slow, but hey, that's what slice of life is anyway. Maybe I'm comparing it too much to some of the fast paced stuff from before. PA is also working with 26 episodes this time instead of 13 so there has to be a difference. ![]() It was nice. Felt a little obvious and predictable who Minko liked, but that was already foreshadowed anyway. Interesting twist at the end that was foreshadowed but executed in a way that I forgave them.
