At a personal level some of the members are nice people (I don't quite agree that all of them, top 3 and DD excepted are OK people. Sugar especially seems cruel.). However, they are still complicit in the subjugation and oppression of an entire country. They basically worship Doflamingo, and would do anything for him no matter how much it goes against their regular behaviour. | ||

As with everything in one piece, there's probably a good reason for that though. In the case of baby 5 for example, we can imagine how hard it must have been to be treated as something unwanted her entire life up until the point where she enters the DD family. DD himself goes out of his way to kill all her "boyfriends" for example. There's some fucked up shit in the DD family for sure but I think that there's also a lot of humanity in the crew. I mean senor pink, up until now, is easily straw hat material. It's definitely not white and black, it's tough to take a stance. the top 3 seem cruel and DD in some ways seems to be both better and worse than them. i can definitely appreciate appreciable enemies, so to say. Oda is a god. | ||

because they inrroduced a character named redfield. my brother and i are just about an hour into the game but i find it fun and engaging at least. not as polished as arkham city during battles but it works alright to me. | ||

Where did you see marrying here for convenience? http://www.mangareader.net/one-piece/771/18 The only reference i could find to her being convenient is the one in this page (middle panel), but I interpret that as being said by lao G. Sai's reaction seems to me a rejection of the words spoken in mentioned panel. | ||

but I don't see your current argument having much point. First of all, she was already smiling and in love before the slap, when about to kill herself, so there's not really any change in her character before and after. Second, I think you missed the largest point where he slapped her gun, you know, the thing that she was going to use to kill herself. It wasn't only a direct slap to the face, although he probably did some physical damage too, to be fair. The word "things" is supposed to be referring to her gun, with an implication of "enough with this idea of suicide." And as already mentioned, he was trying to kill her a few extra moments ago, which I think is worse than a slap, and she was already in love with him then too. | ||
