The video was pretty informative on what happens when 2 conquerer's haki users clash, but was pretty boring otherwise. The carelessly punching of enemies seemed a worse version of the luffy vs zoro/mr.5 fight, which was absolutely hilarious. I thought it was totally misplaced here, as it's a lightens the scene, where you'd want to put more weight on it to increase suspence. To compare, luffy vs. bellamy was epic. The insulting Bellamy putting up a show without doing much substantial combined with the arrogance of his comrades is great build up to the only punch luffy threw which ended the battle. No slowmotion or pretty effects were needed to make me feel like i threw the punch myself. The scene just after that punch felt really good. The dreams bellamy and his comrades critisized: they were living one themselves, and at that moment, that dream got shattered. I don't feel the chinjao scene comes close when looking at build up and thematic importance.

My two cents. I like the clip above, it is very well done. I also think that their is too much slo-mo. Scenes drag on too long with people staring or running. I think they could've made the Colosseum Battles way more epic in the anime by, essentially, adding filler. Show other fighters, show their techniques, etc. That would have added depth to the story and wouldn't have taken away from the manga.
BUT, the worst part of the anime (at least last couple episodes) is the huuuuuggggee intros. Seriously they recap what happened in the previous episode for 8+ minutes in the latest anime. That is super frustrating (altho next week if I watch it I am just going to ff it).
The intros and stuff are a problem, but its solved by just not watching it weekly, and marathoning it. I basically put One Piece episodes on my phone, and would watch them during lunch break at work. At first, in early One Piece, I'd be able to do like, 2 episodes a day, skipping the recaps. Modern One Piece, I was easily able to get 3. But when you can just marathon it, the recap stuff doesn't really pose much of a problem.

So we can take a vote. This video has no edits during the fight, but it doesn't show them powering up.

Yup that all makes sense. In my One-Piece-manga-stupor I didn't have the forsight to fast forward the intro. Nor did I think it would go that long. I thought 'k, the next episode has to start pretty soon. I don't want to fast forward it and miss anything'. Little did I know (my fault, I know).
Time usually flys except when your waiting for OP to get off break I had the slightest of hopes that I wasn't checking the bump in this thread in vain.

Maybe . . . Pica is very strong and damage Zoro with some skills?
Yeah I really think Zoro is going to have a hard time with Pica. Hes had it too easy for too long. Its been a while since we've seen him bleed and and its about time.
You guys should remember this is a break so Oda can get better. The dude already works himself to death, but he is taking a break to recovery from surgery irc.
