That was the whole point of the chapter. To show just how much Luffy resembles Roger. Not only did roger wear the same hat,but also had short black messy hair.
The only difference I saw was the lack of a scar under his left eye.

Hahaha lol I was thinking the same thing. Obviously Caribou is a Rinnegan user and he will own shit, but as we know that OP > Naruto, Ruffy will still kick his mud-mud ass with Haki. I just hope that they will not fight during the sinking process as it would limit Ruffys fighting ability. I hope for a Bellamy-like fight that shows how much over 9000!!! Ruffy has become.
And of course: Kuma is awesome. I'm wondering what kind of *weakness* he got and how the SH will meet him in the New World.

is there any fights in OP at all? i mean 1v1 ? i saw like 20 chapters now and all they do is swim and talk lol... And who is the strongest guy now?

Lol actually, I think why people love OP is how the author takes time to set up the fights. It makes them much more *epic* and touching, instead of some lame fights where the hero throws some techniques that don't work on the enemy then gets overwhelmed to a certain degree by his opponent and pulls out some uber-trump techniques to win the fight at the last second. (Like Bleach - Aizen arc). Instead in OP the author tries to tell a story about the Strawhats and draw a big picture of their world, so that readers can understand what's going on. Also he tries to make powering up a little bit more understandable than in other "Shonen Manga", so that it's more logical for the readers to follow. However this may become boring in the eyes of some people who just expect just the standard things from a shonen manga (fighting, fighting and who is the strongest debates) from OP.
As for your questions, the last big fight was the "War at Marine HQ" however there wasn't a main fight but more like little skirmishes. The last real fight was at "Thriller Bark" where Ruffy was fighting Moria.
The strongest guy in OP is .... who knows -_- ? And who cares ?
Edit: lol hopefully this wasn't a troll post. I'm just a overly-honest person  .
