 I'm rewatching the anime, it's really, really well done. There's shit in the anime you don't have in the manga. Not saying anime is better, they're just different. The music is just really good and some of the scenes are mind-blowingly well done. Luffy vs Crocodile first fight.. so epic. | ||

I started rewatching again today, i left it when he met ussop because his facial design made me "wtf" and the whole thing up untill then was super-cheesey. After that it was just pure awesome. Redboot Zeff, Zanji, Hawkeye. Fucking IMBA. Looking forward to really getting into this now | ||

Looking forward to really getting into this now The cheesiness makes some of the charm, I didn't mind it in the early episodes because that's they were the first episodes anyway. Kind of hard to be perfect within the first few episodes. After arlong park things started getting insane really fast. I guess the one thing a bit annoying about the anime are the filler arcs. I might end up skipping them if I go through with my little entire re-watch. | ||

Atm though its pretty nice, like when i started watching naruto i couldnt distinguish what was filler or not for a while..i guess when i figure out one piece it'll be skip central I cant enjoy manga for some reason, im spoilt. I just hold a deep respect for it as its what brings me my anime, knowing im watching a watered-down form of epic. | ||

unlike Naruto where I started watching the anime before reading the manga, it wasn't until 2 years later that I realized I watched through 2 years of fillerepisodes ( the 100ish episodes after Rescue Sasuke arc) | ||
