That's because Sanji is weaker than Zoro (though not by very much). The Monster Trio power order was established a long time ago. Luffy, Zoro and then Sanji. | ||

But he was easily wounded from knives etc. | ||

So Blackbeard and Kaido both have at least one fighter in the match (and Don Chinjao comes with a small group). I wonder if the number corresponds to fighting power like Baroque works numbers. In that case, Don is more powerful than Scotch (the guy in your picture).
