Oda doesn't do things randomly, he sets it all up. That's why he's so good. Having those three fight together sets a precedent and introduces a stronger connection between them than there is between any of the other Supernovas. Aaaaaand it'd be really cool. | ||

Except there's millions of dumb kids in Japan that love filler and padding and will watch regardless. Why go on haitus and lose potentially hundreds of millions of views when you can just keep churning out the same garbage every week with minimal investment? The only time when One Piece will ever get a good anime again is when the series ends and the reruns stop being popular. Then, and only then will we receive a remastered version just like there's re-re-re-remasters of DBZ. | ||
