Well it's really true that some great people place a brave face but are in reality really, really weak.
It's just a part of life. I really want to see who Koala ends up being. Did they specify if her hometown was in "Paradie" or the New World?
I know some people threw around that Koala is Bonney (The glutton Supernova) but let's see how this pans out.

Did you mean Akainu capturing her ? How should that be related to Bonney and Koala ? :/
What comes in my mind, is that how Bonney saved Zoro from being captured by the Tenryubito. If she's really Koala, then that scene may have a deeper meaning to it, because, she knows how it is to be a slave. But still, right now the Koala = Bonney theory is still too vague. There are no connections between these two that i can see right now.
P.S.: AWESOME Chapter !!!!!!!! Fisher Tiger's character is quite deep ! Want to know moarrr about his time as a slave.

Koala = Bonney seems like an ok theory because how many other female characters that could be Koala are there anyways >_> It would also explain Bonney's hatred of marines and be fitting that she is captured again. It would mean Bonney is 23 and was somehow able to undo her slave conditioning. Bonney's character seems to have an affinity with Whitebeard who does protect Fishmen Island, but I still don't see that as a good enough reason yet. If Koala is Bonney we still need more explanation to make the connection.
As I was reading the chapter I remembered the fishman that was angry at Sanji for requesting fishmen blood and thought Koala would for some reason refuse to give Tiger blood and that would be the reason. Though it's interesting the actual reason Tiger died was simply because he couldn't get over his own prejudice.
Oda seems to be setting up Arlong's capture as more important than it actually is. It seems like Kizaru is planning something devious with Arlong though the reason is more likely just to use him as a bargaining chip.

What a way to go out. I have read some comments thinking that Tiger Fisher didn't get an epic ending, but that just is not true. The emotional conflict between living with shame or overcoming the deep hatred he actually has was great. It adds depth to his well development and ultimately flawed character. Even he knows rationally that he should forgive humans and he knows that many of them are not bastards, his hatred and racism just took the better of him.
And the top panels of page 9 are so beautiful yet so sad if you know what is going to happen.

Koala being Bonney makes some sense I guess but idk. Bonnie is stated to be from South Blue and Koala's home island is on the grand line. Akainu also expressed relief that they had Bonnie again and I don't think a mere slave would've garnered the same interest. It's more likely that Bonnie is a tenryuubito whose disillusioned with the status quo.
I thought the chapter was great, extremely emotional and it touched on very real very mature themes about hatred and racism. I like how Kizaru is being developed as a more devious/scheming character when prior to this he came off as more insane.

Yep your right Bonnie is from South Blue. I was just quoted something I read from another forum. So that kills that idea. Thanks for keeping the truth alive. Just because a character is weak doesn't mean his not epic.

Well yeah Koala can be another Sabo, but I'm just really hoping Koala is present in the current story, she is an interesting enough character.

I don't see why you need to hate these theories nor do I see why no previous characters changing their names is a barrier to others characters changing their names.
To a lesser degree Ace changed his name by taking his mother's last name instead of his father's.
The Admirals do not use their real names.
I could see a slave changing their name to get rid of their "slave name."
I'm not saying I still think Koala is Bonney, it was apparently a short lived idea, but no reason we can't speculate. It's not like this idea has even been spread one entire page.
