Though Law's original plan was to destroy SAD factory, pissing off Kaido and letting the Kaido pirates destroy Donflamingo and his crew. Law said this was a part of a plan to destroy Kaido, but he lied to Luffy since the plan was actually just to kill Donflamingo because of Law's personal grudge. It was never implied that Donflamingo's crew might beat Kaido's crew they are after all a Yonkou crew that normal pirate crews can't stand up to without forming an alliance hence the two alliances that were formed between the rookie crews. | ||

Law's original plan was not to fight the winner of Kaidou and Doflamingo; his original plan was to have Kaidou crush Doflamingo, and he presented it as something that would inevitably happen if Kaidou and Doflamingo fought it out and that was the full extent of it. He said he was going to fight Kaidou to draw in Luffy, but he never had the intention to. As to the source of this conversation, Sanji probably has a decent chance if he's only against Pekoms and Tamago. The straw hats are fairly strong even by new world standards. It really depends on how many core crew members of the Big Mom pirates are on that ship. | ||

Nowhere does this imply that Trafalgar and Luffy would take on Kaidou after Doflamingo got destroyed. In fact it implies that Trafalgar planned for exactly the opposite. | ||

Which is why you're wrong about Law planning to kill the victor of DD vs Kaido, Law expected Kaido to win because he is a Yonkou. Going back further shows the respect a Yonkou crew is given and why Sanji would probably lose. | ||
