D didn't die during the first cut because he has "lethal doses" of blood coursing through his veins and any blood that gets displaced through any cuts, unless the cut drains 100% of his blood, will not kill him as it will go back to the "lethal dose". (this guy also seems to have some kind of hollow-like regenerating powers by the looks of it... for all we know he could be a hollow that yuha bach bestowed a letter on) So, I'm assuming on the second try, after D Moron explained how his power works, tenjiro drained all his "lethal dose" blood (which was helping him restore his blood pool) and oetsu cut him again thus killing him before he could regenerate and replenish his blood store. I'm reading a lot in to try to fill holes but that kinda make sense doesnt it? | ||
