Bleach up until Aizen's defeat was excellent. It's not as good as One Piece but it's still good. The full-bring arc was kind of meh, I didn't really like it.
Things started picking up again with the Quincy arc. I can't believe no one cares that Genruyshi (old fire guy) died. Also, WHAT ABOUT UNOHANA?! omg rip
Otherwise things are still quite solid imo. Maybe it's the pace that's annoying you guys. No one really care about the Old Fire guy because he never really did anything relevant. He has no plot development either so why should we care? All he ever was shown to be was the boss of soul society and everyone obligated to protect him but beside that he never really did anything significant or was close to anyone so why should anyone care? Go watch Naruto the 3rd Hokage or HunterXHunter Netero death because they are the one that show how to properly kills off an old man. Regarding Unohana, there is also very little character development on her as well. Throughout the entire series she never really did anything, beside every now and then showing up to heal people, but this is probably because of bleach own fault for introducing so many character that it hard to find any space for them. What grind my gear about this was that throughout the entire series she was shown to be a healer and gave off a a persona that seems like a nice character and this was shown through how her zanboktou worked (big healing fish dude) AND she was captain of the 4th division (healing medical division). Then her personality just went complete 180 and she became food for Kenpachi.....oh did I mention we still don't know what her bankai does (I know they showed it but we still don't know crap). I personally think that Kubo realized that he didn't have any other character left that would feed Kenpachi well. So therefore he grab one of the least developed captain and created a bull crap story about her past and then turn her into desert while completely destroying her identity he had built. But this is just my Kubo Theory so I will get back to you more on it when I finish my thesis. GTFO There were many flashbacks to Yamamoto's past and although we didn't see his bankai until recently he was involved in a lot of the action. Also, if you think Unohana is under developed, the best thing for me about her was the fact that I could never figure out why Kyoraku was always shit scared of her... and that was from the start... and now we know. Don't you think that's cool? I can't believe a squad 0 member is dead... as if she couldn;t dodge that strike... she's the original ninja lady!!!!!!!!!!
There was many flash back on Yamamoto? Only time I remember seeing this was when he was able to die but that was pretty standard in most anime to give a character a death flash back before they die and when they were introducing Kyoraku showing that he was taught by Yamamoto. Regarding his bankai, it was cool but once again he was going to die so the author was obligated to show it anyways. His death really wasn't a surprise and wasn't that sentimental because of how little he had done throughout the story. Hell, I think Hitsugaya death was more tragic since he had a bigger role throughout the story. Honestly, he has done very little to the story beside getting his butt woop by Aizen and Yhwach (only manga, not anime).
Kyoraku was scared of Unohana? I never knew about this, which arc was this in? I want to read it myself if you can remember because that would be pretty cool. Yet as cool as she could of been, they didn't even touch her much and we still don't know what her bankai does.

Yammamoto didnt ahve to do anything he was badassness enough jsut being there

I watched the anime all the way through and then picked up the manga so wouldn't know what chapter to link you to. Quite often when Unohana used to walk in the room Kyoraku (at least in the anime it was apparent) would stand to attention and act nervous... This became apparent in season 6ish or so (i.e. start of Arrancar arc when more captains got involved and were being explored)
Yama fought the super beast that the 3 stupid arrancar's created (the deer/minotaur/whatever the hell cross). He fought wonderweiss and smashed him in hand to hand combat. also don't know why u claim he got smashed by Aizen when he dove on wonderweiss, took a wonderweiss filled with his own bankai to the knee and then used a hakudo spell to blow his arm up and damage Aizen. That's ballin! He was involved in plenty of fights they were very cool. There are even flashbacks of him fighting and capturing Koga (Muramasa's owner) with Byakuya's grandad. I don't know, maybe you thought these fights and flashbacks are insignificant but as a fan of bleach I didn't.

How can Bleach be worse than it was with every chapter? I remember all the theorizing that fans poured in the Zero Division. Well, apparently those guys will be one-shotted by random underlings designed by assistants. It would be sad, if it weren't for the fact that in the first place, the Zero Division themselves are random dudes designed by assistants. And when I say "designed by assistants", I mean by Kubo's secret "random character design procedural generator", a technology that is far beyond the current state of the art.

Pretty sure the entire thing with Koga is anime only so it just fillers so it doesn't really count. I am beginning to believe most of those event that happen with Yama are just all fillers and also high chance that the Unohana and Kyoraku interaction are also part of the fillers otherwise I would remember some of these. There was never really any significant flash back regarding his past beside the one when he died and he only ever fought against Aizen+arrancers and Bach. Those were the only 2 fight that he was ever involved in.
I am not saying he isn't strong or w/e, I am just saying his death was not well execute so not many people will care since he wasn't that well of a developed character. To compare, his death felt similar to all these random pointless quincy character that recently got introduced just to die in less than 2 chapter. Of course I am over exaggerating this part but hell, he is THE boss of soul society and yet he mattered really little to the plot. His only relevance to the entire plot of bleach was that he killed a few Arrancer that Aizen made and tickling Aizen which didn't really matter anyways once Aizen transformed and Ichigo came. An example of well developed character that actually mattered were Hitsugya, Kenpachi, Soifon. We actually know their past, their reason for becoming captain, their power, their personality and their goal.

I just realized, what the heck does he even do? Doesn't the Gotei 13 takes care of everything political, hollow and he just sit back? Also, I have never seen soul society people use money so there isn't any sort of money or budget to manage or anything right since everyone sort of dead so they don't technically need food. Seems like his only real job is to make sure the Gotei 13 are not being idiots and killing stuff when Gotei 13 can not kill which hardly ever occurs. Therefore his only real job is to ensure that Gotei 13 are not idiots?

his job is more to come up with strategy and troop deployment and ensure everyone is properly trained and shit
like he was the one who sent the captains to Hueco Mundo and the strategy used against Aizen
theres not that much micro management for him to do though

Yamato was also the ace up the Gotei 13's sleeve that everyone knew about. Aizen and Ymach both specifically prepared to counter just that person. He was a powerhouse as well as a strategist. He was more useful than any other Captain probably.

I'm still holding out hope that Kyoraku has a really sick bankai and/or that Ukitake is preparing something big. They both seem like they've never really let loose in a fight. Also being the senior captains and students of Yama have to count for something.

Kyoraku's bankai "isn't something should be used in front of everyone"
scary as fuck

I wouldn't be surprised if Ukitake dies when he bankais since his body is so deteriorated.
But yes, the Kyoraku hype.

Kyoraku and Ukitake are the only two persons who actually didn't piss in their pants and faced Yamamoto heads on

Given how his Shikai makes games with fucked up rules, wouldn't be surprised if his Bankai forced everyone to play a dumb game where the losers die or something.
So maybe not so much on the "don't use it because you're so powerful", and more "Kyoraku you idiot we were doing fine and now our lives are riding on a dice roll".

maybe it makes him naked which distracts the opponent
just consider his attitude towards women

Actually didn't mind this chapter. Seems like we might finally get moving a long a bit (haha yeah right).

Whoa, maybe I'm just in a good mood, but I enjoyed that chapter.
Kind of excited to see the Zanpakuto maker get his fight on.
