I believe his point was that Aizen should've been more effective in how he used the resource that was Orihime, instead of just kidnapping her and letting her sit in a room waiting for Ichigo to save her.

Aaaand then he got beat up and sealed away for the next few thousand years. That sure turned out well for him.
A little illusion and torture on Aizen's part could have gotten Orihime to do whatever he wanted, including making him actually invincible (or whatever his goal was) instead of getting screwed over by some wishy washy stuff with a shiny marble.

Isn't orihime's power related to altering "reality" into how she wants it to be?
So with regards to damage, she doesn't heal damage but simply is rejecting the idea of the damage to a person or thing (in the hogokyu's case) thus restoring it to its pristine form/state.
Do correct me if I am wrong though.

if yes it seems kubo wants to follow kishimoto's path in last arcs.

I honestly don't know why it would be orihime vs the imagination quincy, but wonder what would happen if you imagined he didn't exist?
His power is sort of affected by those that believe it to be so (although with the power of suggestion which starts with him planting the idea - ala inception or affecting the subconcious).
Basically his power is like a game where in you and him have to believe in the power in the battle of each individual. If you believe him to be stronger, then he is. If not, then he isn't. So can you imagine him to non-existence? Or to fodder material basically?

Her power is to restore something to its original state. So if you lost a leg Orihime could restore your leg to how it was before. Additionally she also has the power to fully resurrect the dead. "Bleach manga; Chapter 274, page 12 is where it says. I cant confirm as I am at work"
So you are close. She isnt rejecting the idea of the damage. She is returning it to its state before it was damaged.

why do you think Orihime could do that? assuming that Aizens theory about her ability was correct the most shed be able to do is make it so Urahara never sealed the Hogyoko waking it up much sooner the end result would ahve been the same though

IIRC ichigo said something like "parrying with aizen seems like he is not trying to win or challenged at all" like aizen was lonely sort off. Since you know ichigo can sense the person just by parrying with them right ?
