Last chapter :
Kuchiki Byakuya: "Hello!" Community: "Yeah, Byakuya got this, another 1 hit KO, Rukia is useless, another Byakuya moment"
This chapter:
Byakuya: "Yeah, I'm just here to watch!:D" Rukia: "Bankai!" Community: " O_O"
I'm also excited for the next chapter now! From my point of view (admittedly I only skim Bleach as Kubo's a shitty writer) it looked like Byakuya won the battle and then Rukia used bankai on an all but defeated foe. Optimal usage, eh.
Byakuya just killed off the guy's projectiles and forced him to assume (hopefully) "final form". So really he made him stronger...
anyway whatever this is cool i guess. in before she spends next chapter explaining how it works and gets it stolen in the chapter after that

better chapter, but still some ways to go before I take it seriously again. the line about pointillism and Rukia's bankai made this a somewhat redeeming chapter though, didn't end up feeling like I wasted the 5 minutes I used to read it.

I used to be excited for Bleach. Now it just hurts to read. At this point I'm just waiting for it to be over because I don`t want all those other hours spent on it to go to waste.

I decided to rewatch the anime the other day and I've just finished the Soul Society arc. I really enjoyed watching Bleach at it's best again but I noticed something that really bugged me.
After Aizen does his big reveal and takes off into Hueco Mundo, all the Shinigami go on about how Ichigo and co. saved Soul Society, but I have no idea how. I didn't see any of the Ryoka do a single Soul Society saving action. Sure they saved Rukia from being executed but that didn't save Soul Society, Aizen got the Hogyoku without killing Rukia anyway.
I did however see them destroy lots of Soul Society both in terms of property damage and in injuries inflicted. Between Ichigo and Ishida alone they defeated three captains, two lieutenants, a third seat and countless unseated cannon fodder. Ishida permanently maimed the fourth seat of squad 7. Chad destroyed half the walls in soul society before Kyoraku stopped him. The list of damages to soul society goes on.
Seriously have no clue why Soul Society considered them heroes and not some of the worst criminals in their history.

Isn't it obvious . Plot Armor does it all and it's only limited to protagonists getting power-ups but it is also responsible in altering truth and logic in the show. Seriously you will find that to almost all shounen shows. No pun intended.

If she actually gets her bankai stolen I think kubo has truly put comedic writing to the next level.

aside from the 4th seat they didnt do any lasting damage and they did help bring Aizens crimes to light which was enough for them to forgive them i guess

Revealing the truth which cleared a lot of people of false charges allowing Soul Society to build back up its strength (in terms of numbers of shinigami fighting for SS again) to levels before Aizens meddling. They destroyed some stuff... so what? The truth is worth more.

And yet you waste more hours on it by posting in this thread. Seems to me like your problem is that you might have too much time on your hands....

Why don't you Plot Armour yourself out of this thread? I'm still looking for the pun....

Was rereading stuff for fun last night...
Did we ever get told who the guy in Hueco Mundo with Urahara was? Was there ever an explanation why Ichigo didn't die when Bach woke up and sucked powers 9 years ago, as he is mixed blood?

No explanation... it's quite confusing actually... the best theory that I can come up with at the moment is that he could not kill Ichigo. I think the plot twist will become apparent when we learn what power he actually bestowed on Uryu (Uryu's letter has been assigned but his power is yet to awaken). He is calling Uryu the prince of light and Ichigo the prince of darkess so perhaps the two have to fight to achieve some ultimate goal of Bach's.
Quoting bleach wiki (Yhwach's page) "Proclaiming he named Uryū his successor because he was the first one to survive Auswählen in all of history, Yhwach surmises Uryū possesses a power which can surpass his own, which is why he was chosen to succeed him." Given Uryu is prince of light (and given this is true, which it may not be, it may just be a game being played by yhwach) and he calls ichigo prince of darkness the natural conclusion is that Ichigo is the only other quincy to be able to survive the Aushwitz.
Who is the "guy with Urahara in Hueco Mundo"? chapter + page plz. I can't remember anyone special...

That describes most chapters of Bleach really. Most of the characters we know by now were at some point or another just a foot.

lol... on one hand, I'm glad the fight ended quickly... on the other hand it appears Rukia's bankai is stronger than Toshiro's... no need for vacuum ice or falling snowflakes just instant freeze.
Coolest thing is Yachiru finally gets to fight! I wonder if we get to see her shikai :D I can only hope!
