I'm guessing Ichigo's immune to the cancellation because he's part Hollow (that, or it's because he's a human hybrid). The emperor person is probably just another Aizen wannabe except with the ability to completely nullify powers or something stupid, which will force Ichigo to use his immunity to take him head on. | ||

Ichigo gets fake shinigami powers and has them stolen, then gets stabbed by the reiatsu sword of friendship and gets shinigami powers again. I think I have a new theory as to the randomness of kubo and that is because he loaths the fact ANYONE could possibly guess what will come next, he wants to surprise everyone, so instead of making a awesome unpredictable story he decides to just go off on tangents and have nothing make sense so no sane person could guess waht is next.
