So im a happy guy. Answer me this, did it reseemble close to a superhero movie with the lead with the girl? Or was it more of less a procedural crime solving film?

Just watched this in theaters with my buddies and I celebrated a friend's birthday. I seen a lot of asian action films but this one from Indonesia was insanely good! Would watch again!

![]() We Bought a Zoo is a film about love, remembrance and most importantly, taking a chance. The catch phrase "20 seconds of courage" and "why not?" are metaphorically conceptualized in a beautiful manner. With Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson as leads, it brings to life the sense of fear, loss, and triumph. Okay...I'm too lazy to continue writing a mock review, so I'll give you the skinny. 8.5/10 Excellent movie. I loved it. It made me cry, it made me smile, it made me laugh, but most importantly it made me think: When have I used my 20 seconds of courage? It reminds me of all those times I wished I had bought a zoo (metaphorically of course), and how I should take more chances in the future. If anyone wants a tear jerker, yet needs a good story...Then this movie is for you.

I just want to watch some big scale large proportion warfare films. Any good suggestions? Black hawk down was an exciting one.

I really loved the idea and all the dead artists were just wonderful IMO. I think Owen Wilson was a fit for his role, although I've never really liked him. Still I was disappointed, I think you could've actually given this movie some depth. 6,5/10 Owen Wilson in the lead almost put me off from watching the film. He's in so many generic romantic comedies that his presence makes you believe that's what it'll turn out to be. An appreciation for Modernism makes the film a lot more interesting. Whenever a big name came up I became more excited. Had the casting been more Adrien Brodys as Dalis and less like an unknown actor portraying T.S. Eliot, it would've made each artist more fascinating or at least force a reaction out the viewer. The idea of living in another era has always had a certain charm for me, so I probably overrate the film. I'd still recommend giving it a try.

I just want to watch some big scale large proportion warfare films. Any good suggestions? Flags of Our Fathers is another movie which is decent. Its same as Letters to Iwo Jima, but filmed from US soldiers eyes. TaeGukGi aka The Brotherhood of war is an excellent film, as already mentioned above. Band Of Brothers(WW2), Generation Kill(Afghanistan), The Pacific (Pacific War) are excellent TV series that has come out lately.

The idiots - Wich was great! Its a danish movie about a group who pretend to be spastic as a social experiment. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0154421/ The gray - It was ok, worth a watch imo. Its about a group of people who get stranded in a wolf pack's territory in alaska after a plane crash, survival monster flick. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1601913/ The divide - It was pretty bad, not worth a watch. The movie starts off ok. Then it completely looses the audience. Plot ? whats that! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1535616/

It's a well-paced mystery/thriller. The lead characters aren't supercops. Just watched Elite Squad based on the recommendation here, and it didn't disappoint. Very well done movie, even if it did tend to embellish at parts.
