Also, that part where Cersei just randomly stabs Loras is pretty amusing. She stabbed him? I thought he was the guy who got hit by an arrow, and Cersei pushed him where his arrow wound was. I guess the stabbing would be more reasonable though. She pushed him. No stabbing. that did not seem like a push lol, he falls down and starts squealing in pain She pushed him where an arrow had just ripped through him, hence the falling and squealing in pain. Didn't look to me like she ever pulled any sort of weapon to stab him with.

Tywin's delivery in the last scene was god-tier acting. "We have won!" Loras looked fucking sweet.
Tyrion's every wince and look of concern during the battle... So unbelievably surreal. Guy needs an emmy for sure.
Cersei's acting was amazing as well. Pulled off her blunt honesty so perfectly.
Stannis was somehow more badass than I could have imagined - he went all George Washington riding on the boats, and was the first to climb the ladders lmao.
So bittersweet seeing the Lannisters win with the Tyrells, but it was an amazing episode nonetheless. I cannot wait to see how they wrap up the season - with Jon past the wall, Theon in Winterfell, Arya on the run, Robb at war, Dany and the House of the Undying, Jaime and Brienne, etc.

Am I the only one that thought Tyrian's head got cut in half? I probably thought of that because we saw the hound, stannis, and even Tyrian himself just slice heads/limbs/bodys off with ease. I honestly was waiting for the top half of his head to slide off :x
|
I'm not sure why Tyrion got struck though. Maybe someone (who obviously haven't read the books) could enlighten me? I get that he isn't liked by everyone but that seemed a bit radical.

The part where Stannis was the first to climb a ladder I was like..for real? This man is fighting for the crown and the throne and he climbs the ladder first, without helmet, without a shield. That's not bravery that's idiocy. Weird that there was only 1 defender in the wall section and even he wasn't like getting ready for the guys coming up the ladder, can't have missed the ladder end hitting the walls.
Awesome episode

While I'm not entirely sure either (I might've missed something), I think Cersei or Joffery might have ordered the guy to kill Tyrion in the middle of battle.

I just hope he's not dead ^^ But then this series has a knack for killing off awesome characters =) Still massively enjoying the entire series, almost every character feels interesting, there no storylines that bore me and the acting's good. Yay!

I liked to think Stannis's disdain for protection stems from his fanatical belief of his own victory. The lord of light has said he's going to be king so why bother with a shield or helm?
Although all the characters went helmless, presumably for dramatic effect, so there's that too.

I'm the first guy to prop Dinklage on everything he does on this show. But I think, at this point, he needs to be nominated as a Lead Actor in any award category. He should stop beating up on John Slattery and the Good Wife guys and put 'em up against Jon Hamm, Brian Cranston and Michael C. Hall.

Do I get it right that it is going to be one more year till season 3 will be broadcasted?
|
no, it's scheduled for this fall I believe

Why didn't Sansa accept the Hound's offer? She just wasn't sure that he will protect her? Didn't believe him? Then why did she say he would never hurt her? What was she thinking?

I actually didn't notice it was a kingsgaurd at first, but if that's the case it could have just been someone who was really pissed Tyrion exiled the previous leader of the kingsgaurd. It's either that or Cersei commanded the guy to do it if he got the chance.
Joffery may hate Tyrion, but he's not smart enough to plan it out like that.
