As for the rest of the episode it was really really meh. Even Arya's scenes didn't really get you on your toes this time. But this really feels like the calm before the storm, the preview they showed of the next episode looked mind-blowingly awesome. What was it Tyrion was said in the preview - "there are brave men that want us dead ... let's kill them!" just had me begging for more.

Dat ass..... but back to the storyline because that's what we're all watching it for. :D The tension between Cersei and Tyrion is really heating up. I'm really starting to see some details I wanted to see missing that are in the books in almost every tense conversation/confrontational scene in the last few episodes. ![]() You think some of these lines are crazy good? There are even more HBO leaves out.

I am glad Dinklage didn't over-act the acting if you know what I mean. It's horrible when a character acts and the actor is told to really show that the character is acting (to the point where you ask yourself how the other character doesn't notice). I think that's one of the reasons why this scene was so good. This entire episode I was waiting for something to happen. I was anticipating something the entire time so in the end I was really surprised that it was over. Can't wait to see how this season ends. I think the time of slow episodes is over now. Now we get the bang boom pow we've been waiting for.

Now we get the bang boom pow we've been waiting for. Shae did threaten that one servant who was running off to tell Cersei about Sansa in the last episode, I really suspect that to come up again, she has kind of drawn some attention to herself there that might come back and bite her in the ass eventually. The scene in this latest episode about Tyrion's whore definitely held me in suspense though. Cersei is a wonderfully vengeful overprotective bitch. Love it. That chick with Robb is hot as hell. I do kind of think there's more to her than we know so far though, that she's suddenly going to go: "Oh btw I have huge army in my back pocket, was just testing if you were an honorable man before letting you play around with it", or something. Spoily mc spoilypants already spoiled the Brann thing last week, so that wasn't very exciting unfurtunately. Jon snow is still kind of making me cringe. Dude just seem like he's about to start sobbing every moment. Like a very emo teenager or something, I really hope he mans the fuck up eventually. Arya/Jaqen thing was kind of cool. "Unname me". I'm getting more and more of an Elderscroll'esque Dark Brotherhood vibe from him every scene he's in.

Worst thing is that some of the dialog is really not needed for character development, while some action scenes are cut that are important for the character development (and for keeping me interested)...I just wanted to see John use that bloody sword in a real battle and Arya being the little psycho she is who kills people without remorse...But I guess HBO does not want action in the show...grumble..grumble..grumble... they had to save their action budget for next episode LOL

But I'm still having a huge gripe over how Theon managed to take Winterfell. With only 20 men, as he said this episode. Simple fact is that it's not plausible. Theon manages to trick away most (apparently all) of Winterfells garrison under Ser Rodrick. Even as they go it is completely implausible that there is not a small force (say perhaps 10 men, most likely more) guarding your capital and the acting lord at all times when you are at war. Particularly the lord should - and would - always have a bodyguard around. Ser Rodrick had that force of 200 or so men. Rodrick is captured and executed and his men are gone. (Presumably dead.) How? Are we supposed to believe 20 men killed all 200? The case of some soldiers staying home as guards for castles and their acting lords holds true for the rest of the North as well. I actually don't find it plausible that Theon and his 20 men could take ANY decently sized town with his 20 men, let alone the actual capital!
