btw, I'm thinking of buying the audio books. Roy Dotrice seems like the best reader from what I've seen. Any tip ?

No offense, but do you gotta have someone read it to you <.< You take the fun out of reading. My grandmother uses audiobooks because she can't see well anymore, but in your youth you should enjoy your eyesight while it lasts.

Personally I love audiobooks, because then I can do other stuff (go jogging, play games, etc.) while still listening to the book. Starcraft 2 is pretty much the only thing (in addition to socializing with other people) that requires so hard concentration that I can't listen to audiobooks at the same time. I can do almost anything else while listening to one. Reading a physical book on other hand ties you down on the couch, it's quite annoying.

There is advantages to audiobooks, like it's easier to just continue from ipod or smartphone when you're outside somewhere rather than carrying the book around. Also can be listened while driving, or in the background while doing something else.

It's more of an appreciation of character. Her personality (for example, a tomboy personality) is what makes her a lovable character. and right, I always thought audiobooks were for old people. Maybe I'll try it out the next time I work out, lol!

But you can listen to music at the same time, which you can't with an audio-book :D

It took some time to get used to this extreme multitasking but now I just can't come back :p So, Roy Dotrice ? Roy Avers ? Roy Dotrice, any day of the week. I've discovered the audio books halfway through A Feast for Crows and I haven't even touched my copy of A Dance with Dragons yet. Good audio books are so awesome, especially if you spend an hour a day in your car!

He does different voice impressions, the only confusing thing is that he randomly changes the accent for a major character in one of the books! And I don't think he did book 4, so I listened to some guy who sounded like J. Peterman from Seinfeld. But yeah, audiobooks are great if you drive/walk everyday or multitask a lot.
