Littlefinger is not chaotic, not even close. Chaotic people work outside the system to accomplish their goals. Beric Dondarrion is chaotic once he decided to fight from the forest, Littlefinger is LE or NE at best.

You guys should probably hold off on rankings until the characters get more developed. Season 1 was just a teaser for a lot of their attributes.

Newb here, was Season 1 of the TV show Book 1 of the series?

Yes it was. They stayed rather true to the story and didn't cut anything major out.

You can still do it. The system isn't meant to portray every angle of the character, but the sum of their direction. The categories themselves are a source for endless debate, though (some people seem to (wrongfully) think that CN and TN are meaningless, and so on).
LG: Eddard Stark NG: Catelyn Tully, Daenerys, Jeor Mormont (Lord Commander of the Night's Watch), Jon Snow CG: Robert Baratheon LN: Varys TN: Petyr Balish CN: Tyrion Lannister LE: Tywin Lannister NE: Cersei Lannister CE: Joffery Lannister
Khal Drogo is very difficult to place into a category. We don't see him do much. Still, I would probably hazard a guess and put him in CG.
Also, this is only using information from the first book/season, so I omitted some major characters because their categorization would be 'spoileresque'.

I think they did a pretty good job. I am not sure how her hair was described in the books but I never really thought about that either
we'll have to wait and see how it turns out in the series

Wow, Brienne and Margaery Tyrell are so far off from what I imagined.
For example, I imagined Brienne to have hair to ~shoulder height, and Margaery is just completely different.

Wow, Brienne actress is pretty. She's supposed to be incredibly ugly with prominent freckles and square face. That's television for you.

I have to say placing Tyrion Lannister as Chaotic Neutral is absurd. His character doesn't display any of the traits. He is closer to Chaotic Good if anything.

Have to give it a chance though. Tyrion's character is way off, but Peter Dinklage does such a good job it doesn't matter at all.

Ser Jorah is supposed to be an ugly guy as well, and they went and cast a young Charlton Heston.

i think grrm even said that the actress they got for brienne was too pretty but apparently she nailed her audition or something (I definitely pictured her with longer hair as well)

You must have missed the 2 episodes where Drogo's Khalasar rode into a village and raped/murdered everyone there.

The picture of Brienne... Looks like she's got a chinstrap going O_o
To me she looks very manly. I think she's pulling it off pretty well.
|
Looks pretty suitable as far as relatively masculine and androgenous facial features. I think it mostly comes down to height+build... if she's 5'3 with a slender waist and weighs like 130, I'm not buying it. Brienne was supposed to be tall and built like a man... like 5'10 200 and muscular. Also i thought she had blue eyes?

Gwendoline Christie is 6'3. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3729225/
You cant have a character be ugly unless you want the audience to hate them. Even then, they have to be seriously evil. They can use makep to make her face semi-ugly. Thats good enough imo.
Also, hopefully this isnt too much of a spoiler, but I dont think that shes unfuckably ugly from the books.bbb
