We saw how well being an innocent little girl worked for Sansa in the first season, NOT AT ALL. Oh well, sorry for the "spoilers" xD Just think about what is known about Margaery at the end of episode 10, plus what is shown in the trailers. With that in mind, pretty much any discussion of her is a spoiler. People who only watch the show known absolutely nothing about her, except that she exists and sat next to Renly in the season 2 teaser.

I think there's just some confusion going on. People THINK her as APPEARING innocent. Like when you were 14 and those really hot girls in your school had a slutty reputation and you thought "na, nobody has sex at my age, we're in Junior High! Plus they're so innocent looking!" When in reality they're sluts and you just really want them to be innocent for your own fantasies. That may or may not be a different kind of innocence than what we're talking about but I think it gets the point across.

Literally, in the first scene that introduce's Margaery's Grandmother: + Show Spoiler + When Sansa tells what a monster Joffrey is, and how Margaery and the Queen of Thornes don't seem too worried you get the feeling that something is up. So far in the first three books Sansa is the most clueless person in the series, clearly a poor judge of character (note the Joffrey stuff and her mistrust of the Hound). And that's exactly what the poster you're responding to is saying, that scene just doesn't add unless you literally see it through the eye's of Sansa Stark who still believes in true knights. And I say the above also having JUST completed reading Storm of Swords and I've read no further. I do agree with the poster that said I imagine her as appearing innocent for sure. In my opinion: + Show Spoiler + That seems to be a large part of the Highgarden persona. At the very least she shares that with her grandmother. Appear innocent. But what's really going on? + Show Spoiler + The first time you meet Margaery and her host, there is little to suggest anything other than innocence. While Sansa is naive as hell, the image they portray during their first meeting feels relatively genuine. I haven't read past the first encounter and meal that Sansa has with them. Regardless, there's no need to talk about what characters are all about further than what is known and/or visible so far in the show.

How do you pronounce Damphair? I've been reading it as "Damfair" for the longest time until last night when I realized "Damp-hair" which makes a lot of sense.

Damfair sure is more fantasy than damp hair- it's interesting that your mind went there first. XD Also- Ar-E-Ah or Ar-ya? CAT-e-lin or KATE-e-line Teer-e-on or Ti-re-on Master or May-e-star?

@ Lexpar: Ar-E-Ah or Ar-ya? The second for me, but I think they're pretty much the same thing. CAT-e-lin or KATE-e-line Niether. O.o Cat-lynn. No -e- sound. Kate is wrong, I think -- Kate-lynn is a real name, and George is taking real names and making them weird. Teer-e-on or Ti-re-on The first. Master or May-e-star? May-ster. In the show, they pronounce it even weirder. Like Meiestro or something? I forgot. I tlaked about it in here ealirer though.
