Wow, 3 seasons for books 4/5? It seems like they'd be able to fit all of book 4 into one season from what I can tell so far (30% through). Or does that mean book 5 has a lot going on?

As awesome that gallery is, so much of them do not look at all what I imagined. Look at friggen Jaime xD
Dance is just as long as ASOS but I don't think there's nearly as much going that would require screen time and could probably fit one season. Its gonna be really interesting to see how they mix the parallel timelines of feast and dance though.

At the Comicon the producers said that they would also push some CoK-content to season 3 (not the Blackwater-thingy though )...

Yeah, he doesn't look that manly. Yet thats how it's described in the books. Remember he and Cersei are twins? It's mentioned quite often that the two of them look much alike and especially when they were children, many people couldn't tell them apart.

I don't think there's enough content in AFFC and ADWD to warrant 3 seasons. Just lots of descriptions lol.

Yeah I agree. AFFC and ADWD both are like 1 and half season, I would give it cca 15-17 episodes. They are long, but too much fillers and nothing important really happens, very rarely some awesome surprising event.

Some people look exactly how I imagined them, though. Whenever I imagined Shagga son of Dolf, I always pictured Olaf from LoL. I dunno why.
Funny thing, even though I watched the show first, once I started to read the books I basically forgot everyone in the show. I only remembered a few characters faces. When I saw that Special Effects video earlier, during the picture of Kings Landing i was like WHOAA.
I'm not reading any of the replies here as to not be spoiled, but I have just recently started watching this show and it is AMAZING!! I decided to get into it from reading a reply to someone's blog suggesting the watch the show. I'm on episode 8 right now, so disappointing there is only one season. I'm probably gonna finish it tonight, can't wait!
I just finished watching season 1, and honestly I think its decent, but not great. I enjoyed Spartacus much more then this. The concept is there, but the dialogue really needs work. There were maybe 1 or 2 lines that stuck out to me. But hey, thats just my opinion.
