1:30-2:30. Wow. Just Wow.
There might very very minor Spoiler about Book3, but its a fan meeting afterall so they arent spoilening smth directly.
LOL the face Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) made.
I didn't get the spoiler though. Also, the serious lady at 2:25 made me turn off the video.

Why did nobody question Jaime? He's such a great character, I really hope he gets more screen time!
|
Just so I got this right Joffrey Baratheon is actually a Lannister being that he is the only one of the Baratheons that got blond hair meaning that the queen got her son with her brother?
|
Should probably spoiler tag that in case people haven't got that far...
+ Show Spoiler +

it was indicated in the show by Ned reading the book where all baratheons had black hair

Damn im addicted to this, in the middle of the third book already.

When Cersei and Ned had their talk, she Cersei mentioned that only her first (i htink it was first?) child was actually Robert's, but she lost it. It was made very clear, I think, both on TV and in the book, that all of Robert/Cersei's children were born of incest between Jaime and Cersei. So Robert's only true children are his bastards, of which we met one (the blacksmith apprentice)
I'm having so much trouble understanding what everyoesn saying in this ComicCon video >_> Tyrion, or whatever his name is, just doesnt seem to be smiling at all. CHEER UP MAN! Also, I odnt know wtf they're saying from 1:30 to 2:30 in that video. Whats so facepalmy?
EDIT: The fourth part of the video has sort of a spoiler; it mentions a future event (just a name of a battle) that is sort of spoilery for those people who are super anal. It's nothing for most people, though. It happens to be the same event that I was trying to hint at on the last page ;P

Has there been any info on when the DVD/Bluray releases will be out? I feel bad about pirating the show the whole season (don't have HBO, nor the means to order it) and would really like to support the production of future seasons!

Khal Drogo kinda: "Scifi and fantasy is amazing, you can do stuff like ripping out someones tongue and get away with it or rapeing beatiful woman and fall in love with them"

I just bought the first 4 books in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. Looking forward to reading them. It feels like the book discussion will be long gone when i'm done with the books. ^_^
|
I have two questions.
How did the deserter from episode 1 made it back witout going through the wall?
And, what was the true behind the special dagger used in the assasination attempt against Brandon?
I think it's clear Jaime ordered it, but I don't understand why would they use a dagger that can be tracked back to them.

There are many ways to get through the wall. You could climb it, go through a unguarded gate, or just take a boat around.

Enjoy, its well worth it. Im half way done with book 4, its take alot of time but it's really fun

The 2nd one you listed isn't a viable option.
|
There are 19 castles and only 3 are manned, one of the others is bound to have a gate.
|
I doubt they'd leave gates open at unmanned castles when they abandoned them.

As others have said, there are ways through the Wall (like climbing it, or through hidden tunnels).
As for the dagger/assassination, it's still left open in the story.
|
You will learn about that dagger and assassination later in the series
|
At some point didn't the guys at the wall talk about the deserter? I thought it was briefly mentioned in a later episode that they knew he had deserted (as apposed to the whole scouting party having gone missing), I took that to imply they had let him through then he ran off.

quote from book 3: It's easy to pass the wall for a man, but its quite impossible for an army. (not a literally quote though^^)
