This makes cersei both incestuous, and a whore. She's quite the monster imo. Not a whore, she isn't taking any money for her 'services'. Just fraternal incest and incest with a cousin. But yer, she is a monster indeed! You don't have to take money for it to be a whore. She does it control men. She gets something material for it, just not gold.
so every girlfriend is a whore?

(I haven't read the book and really don't intend to, so these are just my thoughts on this.)
So what point would sleeping with her cousin have, if she can't get another child since her husband died...

I really liked the last episode, but waiting already sucks. Its just best, if you start a tv show when it is complete, so u never have to wait months for the next season
btw: the pic reminds me, that Dany was bald after the fire in the books, forgot this completly. I guess the (American) viewership is not ready for bald women^^ (yeah, book spoiler ...)

She's using it for control, I thought that was obvious. Lancel was a big player in Roberts death, even if he didn't actually kill him, and Cersei wants to make sure he stays loyal.

I think Cersei uses the whole "keep the blood pure" thing as an excuse. She really just wants to be with Jaime because "they are meant to be together, since they even entered the world together".
Only problem is Jaime lies in chains somewhere with Robbs army. Lancel just reminded her of Jaime and she didn't have sex for how long? I guess a month or so.

I heard the same and wondered about it a lot. My conclusion is: If her skin/body can immune to fire why not her hair? I know that GRRM is the author and his creative choices are his creative choices and the books/series should follow that, but her being bald after the ritual or not is likely to not impact the plot in any way(or so i hope!).
I always thought that the hair was a very unique part of the targeryan heritage and I find it cool that she kept it.

what tv show ever had the full series done before starting it? every show has seasons. And its would be hard for them to complete the show seeing as the books arnt done even

I meant something different: most people outside the US dont watch the series on TV, but load it down. So its no problem to start watching when its complete (in a few years)
I started watching English shows just a few years back, so I watched a lot of older stuff at once (5+ seasons in a few weeks), its so nice if you dont have to wait.

in the books...

I felt this episode was a bit weaker than episode 9 (very memorable).
My only concern is with the dragon. I hope they are not some sort of OP beast that can wipe out entire armies. So far, this series was insanely interesting with all the plots, politics around and with all the magic/fantasy atmosphere all around. I'm really intrigued in how Daenerys and her dragons will continue to grow in S2! Will it be her trying to build an army (convincing the Dothraki's tribe to join her once again by showing her dragons, or will she directly go back to westeros?) Of course, it will be plain stupid to build an army if Dragons alone can wipe out armies on their own, so i really hope the dragons aren't too strong I'm also impatient to see relations between Daenerys and the seven kingdoms (assuming she will set foot on the continent sometimes soon...

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BRINGING THE BOOKS UP AGAIN?
Seriously, it gets beyond annoying...

Christ, how are people still not understanding the top? Nothing from the books, how hard is it to understand? Just don't post anything related in any remote way to the books.

Wow, seeing a lot more negative reaction to the finale then I thought.
The screen writers kept her hair because they were afraid if they burnt off all her hair, she'd look like she was hurt by the fire.
The fantasy element has been building all season. White walker awakening after a thousand years, direwolves south of the wall, we even see more and more Valerian Steel (never needs sharpening, pretty much a fantasy standard). To have 3 itty bitty dragon whelps doesn't mean the show is being thrust into LOTR or WoT, it just means the world is changing, and in GoT everything is always changing.
Hope I've steered clear of all the book spoilers.
