Well, castle defenses have often area based weapons like burning oil or in case of this castle, a fucking scythe. Burning oil doesn't care how many people attack. But if you wait a day the oil will burn out. That's why you attack over multiple days. | ||

Rartely saw a battle filmed that greatly. That episode is probably something people learning how to use camera angles and shit should study. Amazing use of those techniques. The anchor on the wall to make the Ice fall was really cool. Great turn of the tide type of secret weapon. I knew about the redhead dying, didn't expect that the kid would be the one doing it, makes the whole thing pretty ironic. The fact that they made her say " You know nothing Jon Snow" once more before dying was a bit stupid to me. I facepalmed when it happened. Great episode tho, probably even better than the battle at King's Landing from the previous season. | ||

Scythe is op I agree. The wildlings could also go by boat. Like I know they don't have many boats, but pulling a Ghengis Khan can't be that hard. Chop a few trees. So can we start ranking jon snow and a premiere fighter? All this mountain/hound/jamie/barristen talk, jon has killed like 100ppl. Killed the thenn leader 1v1. did a 1v3 before then. Dagger dude almost got him but didn't and in GOT we reward results not flashing spear spinning. We need a weekly powerranking | ||

The wildlings leader all have such a brutal style it's very well done. Be it the Great Axe guy or the leader ( looks like a Bastard sword ? Short sword ? It's a bit big and wide for a dagger ), they fight so dirty and brutal, I love it. | ||

I distinctly remember him losing to the legend of Gin Alley badly until the wildling chick interfered. Other times (like the undead guy) Jon just has Ghost do the dirty work. | ||
