also this certainly was a great way to create "chaos".. After all LF was the one who brought marg to kings landing, so he has a connection with the tyrells. And maybe varys was warning the tyrells(varys and queen of thorns talking) last season about littlefinger because he knew LF would try to fuck things up. he did have a dreadful look on him... dunno

Well the whole succession thing isnt actually that important.
When Robert Baratheon died, his brother Stannis had actually the best claim to the throne, since all the kids were underage, Stannis could have been at least the hand of the king similar to Tywin in power until the kids grow up. His claim was definetely better than Cercei's queen regent bullshit. Also considering that all the kids arent really Roberts in the first place, but most likely Jaime's.
In the end you just need to have a decent enough claim and the swords to enforce it. Stannis has still the best claim legally, then Tommen, then Myrcella. After that probably Daenarys.. since after Myrcella there arent any Baratheons left.. maybe Stannis sick little daughter.
Cersei is now my new no1 hate character. Bitch got no claim to anything and thinks she's queen.

No, it has absolutely nothing to do with age. When a new king isn't of age yet, a reagent is appointed to rule in their stead until they come of age (e.g. Ned was supposed to be reagent before Cersei tore up that piece of paper and installed herself as reagent). This is usually the case in primogeniture succession. Stannis did have the best claim to the throne, not because of the "Baratheon" children being underaged, but because Robert's kids aren't actually his, thus excluding them from the line of succession.

When Stannis threw the leeches with Gendry's blood in the flames he named king Geoffrey, Robb Stark and Balon to be killed. Robb Stark was killed already. Now Geoffrey.
Assuming there was some black magic at work, we can guess that the birds in the pie were kinda special.
But then again, Robb Stark wasn't killed by magic.
Maybe Robb was accidentally killed before the magic could do its work.
Not sure why they would leave in the detail about Sansa's necklace though.
Somehow Olenna has something to do with it, even though it couldn't have been her who poisoned Geoffrey.

Except that in the eyes of the law they are of the royal line. Stannis tried to prove otherwise and was unceremoniously defeated. As long as the Lannisters still have the swords, they still have the throne whether everyone in the kingdom knows the childrens' parentage or not.

Nobody is for sure dead though. At least, not after what we saw the red priest (what's his name?) resurrect the lightning lord repeatedly. They have the tools in place to bring back any character they want, I suppose.
That said, Joffrey didn't seem to have any fire god worshipers as buddies, so he'll probably rot forever. Good riddance.

He clearly stopped breathing at the end. Thoros was (allegedly) the only red priest in King's Landing, but perhaps there are others. The religion of the Seven is strong in the capital though, so I doubt anyone would go for it.

The red priest is named Thoros of Myr.
And the lighting lord is Beric Dondarrion.
