+ Show Spoiler + Wow... I haven't been so emotionally involved in a TV show in a long ass time. The end of season 1 was just absolutely stunning, I was SO surprised by the twist with his brother, and the murder of his mother... For whatever reason, it just really struck a chord with me, probably because my brother and I are really close... Him being forced to murder his brother was just... emotionally overbearing for me. That scene where you see Dexter at 3 years old crying and then the camera pans left to Brian staring at the floor was FUCKED... I had a weird ass dream that night after I saw it :p I asked my dad who'd seen season 2 and my roommate if it was as good or better than season 1, and they said yeah, by far... I was extremely disappointed in episode 1 (partially due to frustration, the file was kinda fucked up), but the rest of it was just so good! Surpassed the first season for me... never thought it could do that. I just watched the last 7 episodes today (50" HD TV with no commercials is fun!) because I knew there was no way I could NOT watch them all... especially when Dexter captures Doakes :D I'll be amazed if season 3 can be even better  GO DEXTER! Btw I'm a bit surprised there isn't any talk of the philosophical implications of what Dexter does... Do you guys believe he is justified in killing others? Although I love Dexter and always root for him I still don't believe in taking the life of another person, except in EXTREME circumstances of self-defence. | ||
