they might do one of those bullshit "hidden motives" (assuming this theory holds) like "oh my gawd, deb raped my nephew" or some shit. either that or it's just for the sake of journalism. seems extreme obviously... maybe she didn't mean to KILL anyone. again it'd be pretty retarded if it was her, it's just a gut feeling i'm gettin.

Maybe reporter chick shot Deb and Lundy to get a story in order to keep her job? It sounds very far fetched but it's the most logical explanation i came up with. She is obviously using Quinn to get inside information so a dead cop or two would've been a story that she would likely get more detailed information on than other reporters. The promo makes it sounds like she might've slipped up in her interview with deb and said something she wasn't supposed to know

I really hope youre wrong, the normal person : psycho killer person ratio is already small enough as it is. I guess people also think she might be it ,aside from good logical reasons (lack of other people who coulda done it) cause she's really quite the bitch, but for her to turn out to be another murderer .. meh......that would be too much.. I hope her point in the story is to show off a gorgeous woman naked

I mean would Dexter care that much if she cheated on him? I bet either he wouldn't care at all and would have to do the tough job of acting like he's in pain or he's gonna go apeshit on his ass

well there's a couple of possible outcomes. I don't think he wants to lose rita and the kids. A really crazy but very unlikely possibility would be him killing rita, more likely he would kill the neighbour. He's already killed one innocent guy, maybe he doesn't feel like strictly following harry's code anymore.
However, most probably she will regret what she did, he will forgive her and they will be happy again. Obviously one of the main themes this season is comparing trinity and dexter, and while at first it looked like trinity can combine a normal life with his dark passenger and dexter can't, towards the end of the season we will see that it is actually the other way around

Some people think Jonah, Trinity's son, shot Deb and Lundy. Previews for the next ep, show that he knows about his father's dark side. Maybe he wanted to protect his father.

Oh, I like that. The implication would be that if Trinity can't keep himself hidden from his children, how will Dexter be able to?
