I can't stop laughing at the name 'Boruto' of all possible options. At least Bolt, aside from being a name for a pet dog, wasn't as close as possible to the parent's name without actually using it and adding Jr. or II after it. That and it could've been considered paying slight respect/homage to Naruto's dad.
Maybe Boruto has a meaning in Japanese that makes it not seem so silly, but I'm not holding my breath. This is Kishi after all.
Overemphasized daddy issues by Sarada were also amusing.
Still, it's the first chapter of a new series (technically). A lot of first chapter fluff to get out of the way, like characters going out of their way to mention other people by name/their relation to other characters so that a new reader knows who everyone is and all that. Should die down in a couple chapters.

So, we are hinted that Sasuke chose Karin (not official yet but Salada is the splitting image of Karin). Naruto then chose Hinata.
So basically no one chose Sakura and she is a god parent/foster parent of Salada without her actually knowing.
I am curious though why Sakura (in the translation) couldn't straight up answer whether Sasuke wore glasses. Is it showing she has degrading memory now? Other than her weak health (yet super strength still present). Is it the side effect of her using too much of her regeneration ability during the war?

actually it's just how the bastardized english pronunciation by japanese sounds like i believe (albeit in a comical fashion).
so the L's kinda sound like R's as well as vowels to the end of words ending with consonants (as with almost all japanese words i think)
so naturally, Boruto = Bol-to = Bolt

That makes a fair bit of sense, thanks. Also, a lot of people like to give mangapanda (where I read it, at least) flak for their translations, so translator error/rush is also a likely cause. Given that I read a ton more series than just the major shonens, most of which are only translated by one group, I have far less issues with mangapanda since I like their site layout and a fairly low percentage of the mangas I read are rushed to the degree that a release from a major series like Naruto would experience. So probably a combo of the two. Still funny as shit, though.

Its no translation error, its exactly like malcram wrote. Thats why japanese, or koreans f.e. often end words with a vowel instead of a consonant. Bec. their language mainly exists out of syllables ( to- , na-, wa-, ka etc.), they dont have those hard endings in words that we have. If you read a lot of mangas maybe you find it quite interesting to learn a bit about the japanese language.

Tsunade made some replacement arms from Hashirama's cells for Naruto and Sasuke. This was mentioned near the end of chapter 700. Sasuke left the village before getting his, so we don't know if he ever came back to get it replaced.
