Should have ended with Pain arc. Pains reasoning & end to his reasoning actually made sense and was decently written which made talk no jutsu actually fine. I haven't watched the anime in like 200 episodes except for a few choice ones. Pains arc was... 200 episodes ago. So what happened in those 200 episodes... Lead into war -> war starts -> some shitty fights get screen time -> madara goes boss as fuck -> obito goes gay as fuck -> madara tries to go godmode gets kaguya'd -> kaguya doesn't wipe them out despite being jesus for X reason -> then what.. naruto and sasuke hug kaguya to end it because she's basically their spirit chakra mom?
Sasuke should have gained all that power, and then one day eaten peanuts only to find out he had a peanut allergy. Because he's a shitty character so he should choke and die a terrible death for having the shittiest reasoning skills of any genius.
Sucks that better stories couldn't be elaborated with Orochimaru / Madara. Though Madara was at least boss as fuck.

I agree if it ended during pain arc then naruto would have been fine.
I miss the days that they actually fight like a ninja with all the tactics and shit and not go dbz mode. The days where orochimaru was legit as fuck. Obito was just a memory and not turned gay because of being revived war. The death of some characters namely (asuma and jiraiya ) where it actually felt sad. Most akatsuki where actually threatening. Elemental jutsu were actually useful and no one shoots energy balls. And the time where everybody didn't actually want to become a hokage and sasuke wasn't going 360 degrees. Fuck.
Seriously i can never understand how kishi managed to mess up a good show. Fuck kishi. Maybe not that great but surely it was decent once.

I disagree, I thought the war and the final showdown vs Madara was good. He's a true ultimate villian. They eventually kill Madara and break the cycle of hate etc etc Naruto becomes hokage and everything is wrapped up nicely.
The pain arc could have been the end aswell, wouldn't have been sad about that but would have left alot of unknows. The ninja war was the ultimate wrap up plotdevice. I do think Orochimaru should have just eaten teh Sauce at the start of shippuuden and the kage summit arc was stupid. But other then that it was epic enough to justify stretching it a bit.
But this Kyuuga shit......

This last fight has been boring for a while, and the chapter looks like taken from a JRPG last scene / final boss.

It is hilarious how shit this has gotten over the last dozen or so chapters. Not that it was great before that, or even average. But really, Kishi does not seem to give a fuck any more about what is going on.
