The 1st hokage is praised because he stomped Madara, the guy who you said has all this OP stuff. He's the only guy in the world that has actually beat him.
If I remember correctly they weren't fighting at full strength and when fighting the 3rd hokage or something and didn't have their personalities in tact, I'm sure they are both much stronger than what they showed then.

not that most of the stuff Madara is doing is actually wood techniques like the wood dragon thing
when the 1st and 2nd fought the 3rd Orochimaru was in complete control of there actions and wanted to torture the 3rd to death becaue he didnt know about the reaper death seal (which is why he thought that the 3rd blocked the 4th from being summoned instead of the 4th being unavailable) so he didnt know the edo tensei could be broken he thought that his immortal undestructable puppets would be able to toy with the 3rd for as long as he wanted he wanted to enjoy the 3rd having to fight his old teachers

would also like to see more people break the Edo Tensei so it doesnt seem like this all powerful ability, i kow people are gonna be like "if they could break it they would have broken it last time" remember there summoning the Kages to learn stuff so unlike last time they have to let them have control over themselves to an extent or else they wouldnt be able to ask questions and get answers

Hashirama - Father of the Leaf and Madara's equal or better.
Tobirama - Invented Edo Tensei. Can possibly break Edo Seal like Madara.
Hiruzen - Ninjutsu and Taijutsu master. Knows everything about the Uchiha Massacre.
Minato - /war
Sasuke revived Oro for a reason, and that reason is the most complete story of the entire Uchiha massacre. Partaking the War is probably second.

your are wrong about the mask.
the mask was in the uzumaki temple.
after that, they walked into the shattered remains of the uchia to get to the tablet.
i think they did not need to do the edo tensei in the uchia temple, but because the tablet (stone) is there, they want informations about it.
i wonder if the kages can break the edo like madara.
does anyone remember how itachi was able to break it?
i liked this chapter a lot. and i am hyped to see what will happen, and what the kages will say.

Kishi just made a giant leap in turn of events. So much happens, and now this. WOW
Though, feels like he just pulled out in last minute to revive Oro and give him his jutsu back. Kinda lame, but hopefully this can be interesting. Though I'm really missing the early Naruto days with decent fights and smart thinking

Ok after rereading the chapter I gotta say that Kishi is just pulling stuff out of his ass again.
Not only do I find it ridiculous that there's such a simple to way to bring back the Hokages that were "sealed away forever in the belly of the deathgod" but why the hell didn't one of his subordinates go to the (empty!!) Uzumaki village and steal the mask and get his arms back.
Even Edo Tensei again was the dumbest thing ever but at least we got the option of a Hashirama X Madara and Minato X Naruto fight now with naruto learning Flying Thunder Technique.

The same way Orochimaru got his arms back. He released it by slashing the summoning.

Madara only managed to break it, when the summoner died.
And Itachi never meant to break it, his orders were just overwritten by another genjutsu he left with Naruto.
