Do you know when I actually stopped taking Naruto seriously? When Danzo revealed his arm after a cliffhanger and instead of something new or cool, he just has 10 motherf****ing sharingans on it. The worst part is my friend predicted that he would have sharingans on the arm. In jest. We were laughing a whole week about how stupid that would be. Then it actually happened. This week, I lost what little respect I had left for Naruto. They freaking cemented an enemy. This isn´t some kind of Mafia flick where the gangsters drop someone into a river with cement "shoes" Don´t be surprised when there will be more pseudo science bullshit techniques, like someone splitting an atom with his blade, causing a nuclear explosion. But I would have to say that the full brunt of the mental groan didn't come from the arm being covered with Sharingans, but rather of how quickly he used up his reserve in a single fight. You'd imagine that if you spent your life collecting these Sharingans, it would have a much more effective and efficient use. It was just comical that Danzo used up all of them, didn't even come close to winning, then died. Biggest let down ever. | ||

Yeah I had pretty much the same thoughts, and at the end he blew himself away with a Kamikaze-Jutsu that had no effect. I mean he was sort of the CIA-Boss of Konoha or such, and his final weapon, his ultra-kamikaze-jutsu, didn´t even get one of them ? That was a cheap ending for a cheap character. | ||
