What attracted me to Naruto was the "never give up, Imma be a hokage one day" motto. He was an ordinary boy that went against society's norms and proven to those around him what he has to offer. For me, this resembled my teenage years because of my struggle for identity and dealing with racism. Now, Naruto keeps getting super powers which is fine because he's the main character but it becomes mundane. I'm not being fastidious, at least I hope not, but Naruto should have ended a long time ago. The manga right now is basically milking money with 5-6 pages of one character killing other characters which then brings another 4-5 pages of flashbacks and emotional crap. | ||

he defended the village hokage-style, he had that contact thing with his parents, and he is finally accepted from the whole village. sure he didn't unleash the power of the tailed beast nor he brought sasuke back but the story of naruto is (well, at least was) about struggle and the biggest struggle he had was finding his place in the world. and he found it (made it) right then and there. the road to hokage was not a fantasy any more but a straight line | ||

You can see that Kakashi looked perfectly healthy in this chapter but as soon as the Mangekyo unlocked it drained all of his chakra and one shotted him http://mangastream.com/read/naruto/45728229/9. This explains why he never used his Mangekyo pre timeskip, its because he couldnt. Obito could spammed MS because it was his eyes therefore it didnt take 2x the chakra to use + he is an uchia and they have larger chakra reserves + he was infused with hashirama cell. The only question is though, WHY ISNT OBITO BLIND? Sasuke spammed his MS for a couple of months (ish) and he went nearly blind. Obito must have had his mangekyo what.. 10-20 years? Also, i think Kakashi isnt blind yet because its a transferred eye and transferred eyes never go bad (why madara took his brother's eyes). Also... wasnt the mist became the bloody mist because of Obito manipulating them?? Then why are they the bloody mist now? And wasnt the 4th made Hokage AFTER the war? Back on latest chapter; I loved the way Obito fought the battle, one of the most epic drawings with the blood dripping everywhere. Seems to me Naruto got a little bit darker over the years. First with the cold blooded kill of Danzo's subordinates, now this sick picture of bodies hanging in the tree and blood dripping everywhere. Got me to wonder if this will be shown in the anime as it was shown in the manga. Pretty hardcore, can't wait for the next chapter as usual. For everyone that keeps complaining about how bad naruto has gotten. Maybe you should stop watching it? For me Naruto keeps getting better and better. I think the storyline is fricking awesome and everything that happened so far has had an explanation. Everything is constructed so well... I don't care about whether or not obito should be blind. My guess is probably not, since apart from this event and the mangekyo that he just showed Kakashi a few chapters ago, I don't think Obito has used his mangekyo much.. After all, he was able to 'slip' through the ground before the killing rocks fell on him(as Madara told the story). This was before he awakened mangekyo. Which means the slipping through dementions does not require mangekyo As you see against Konan, he quickly ripped of part of his mask to use Izanagi with his other eye. Seems to me he doesn't want to do anything that hurts his eye. This because he needs this eye to be able to swap between dimensions. | ||
