The whole Obito's body part reeks of an Orochimaru style soul transfer scenario with the inclusion of a Zetsu restoration to his destroyed body. The scene where hes left arm falls off with goop dripping after Minato owned him makes me suspect it even more. I'm not saying Tobi is Orochimaru, I'm saying I don't believe its solely Obito i believe someone used the Soul transfer jutsu on Obito's body cause if i'm not mistaken when Orochimaru used it before the timeskip he said that a part of the person would live on inside him, which could account for the Obito knowledge of Kakashi. | ||

However, Kabuto recently said that the Edos have to be prepped 1st, and that the coffin signifies that they can now be summoned at any time. Kishi forgot about what Oro tried or just ignored it. | ||

And says thats why Orochimaru couldn't use the 4th. That originally wasn't a rule for Edo Tensei, because as you can see in the second link, the host is used for the soul's body, after that, Kabuto can put them in a "coffin" looking thing. If this was a case for Orochimaru, he would have seen Minato not functioning when he prepared the Edo Tensei and not have used him in his fight against Sandaime. There are already factors that've been retconned dealing with Edo Tensei, it's not hard for Kishimoto to do. That being said, the original facts for Edo Tensei in Part I should not apply to the new information with Nidaime currently, as I said earlier. | ||

...But I still think its retarded. Half his body was crushed under a ton of rocks, one eye taken by Kakashi, the other crushed under a rock. The explanation as to how he didn't just croak better be some epic shit because its starting to feel like Kishimoto is taking tips from M Night | ||
