I 100% agree with the theory that Tobi = Kagami Uchiha, but I also strongly suspect he's Obito's dad. Every bit of the abilities, timelines, and character interactions fit perfectly for this theory. He was a direct apprentice to the 2nd hokage in order to have learned and mastered space/time jutsu beyond the 4th hokage's abilities. Time-wise, Obito could be his son, because Asuma Sarutobi is the same age as Kakashi/Obito, and Asuma was the son of the 3rd hokage, and the 3rd is approximately the same age as Kagami. Tobi being related to Obito explains why his sharingan power is so similar to Kakashi's. It also explains why Tobi has a bone to pick with Kakashi. ("Why didn't you save my son??") It also explains why Kakashi has a twinge of familiarity but isn't acting like he's fighting his best friend. Furthermore, it also lends credence to why Tobi originally played the happy-go-lucky type like Obito supposedly acted if their personalities were related. Tobi was also keenly interested in watching Danzo fight and seems to know Danzo well. Danzo would've been his old teammate if he were Kagami. The other gap this neatly fills is Tobi's knowledge/involvement with Madara's life and Madara's death at the hands of the 1st hokage, as he was probably old enough to have witnessed the fight and/or find Madara's body. Since he grew up in the Uchiha clan under Madara's leadership, it's only natural that he'd have some knowledge of Madara as well. As far as Tobi's age goes, I'm dubious that he needs any exotic anti-aging theories/jutsus to explain any of the timelines up to present day. Danzo is around the same age as Kagami and was still a very potent fighter up to present day. Since Tobi's face does show some wrinkles/defects in all of the partial-face-shots we've seen, he certainly could be made to look old enough once the mask comes off. Danzo is the same age as Sarutobi, and Sarutobi was a mere child genin when the Second Hokage was in his 20's-30's, meaning the First Hokage was already older. I find it unlikely that Obito's father is over 4! student-teacher generations from his son [Team Kakashi < 4th Hokage < Erosennin < 3rd Hokage < 2nd Hokage]. | ||

Not to mention he's using it on himself, and may therefore have different associated cost than an external use. also hes only moving a small portion of his body at any time and for a very short amount of time also unlike Kakashis eye hes not doing it at long distances | ||

(couse obviously tobi switches between them) Tobi oviously does not actually switch between them since he wanted Obitos power specifically and i think its like you fuse 2 eyes together so that your eye never loses its sight | ||

1. Tobi has the same eye as Kakashi. 2. When Tobi's left arm got messed up it was revealed to be Plant guy white mush crap. Makes sense because Obito got his whole left side crushed. I'm guessing that plant guy saved Obito from death back at the big fight where Obito is assumed to have been crushed. Plant guy probably has some past that gives him knowledge of both Madara and the First. Hopefully we'll see somewhat soon what the truth of the matter is though... | ||

Itachi's 2 he gave to sasuke. The one he used for izanagi he replaced with one of pain's rinnegan. The 6 paths is a rinnegan power that projects your eyes onto the bodies you're controlling using the chakra rods. He didn't actually use any of his stored eyes. It's merely a projection of his own allowing him to see out of their eyes as well. | ||

It's merely a projection of his own allowing him to see out of their eyes as well. im not convinced that they got the Sharingan becasue of him using the rods i think they got the eyes when you give them a path (theoretically it should be possible to give anyone a Rinnegan though theyd be lacking msot of the benefits) and doesnt ahve to do with the rods Nagato controlled Kakashi (very briefly) and Nartuo with his rods and none of there eyes changed so i think its that once a body gains one of the 6 paths there eyes change to Rinnegan until they no longer have the power anymore Completely missed Fugaku Uchiha. I only put the options that I've seen listed more than once and we physically saw Itchai chop him down. Though I guess that's just as bad as Obito being crushed by a boulder. Still Haven't seen anyone mention him as a possibility and I had to look up his name to even know who you were talking about lol. | ||

And how doesn't it make sense? Both his sons are crazy strong and for all we know there was some genjutsu placed that just make it look like he died. Though I think a somewhat recent flashback drove me off this idea slightly, I still really hope it happens and it seems just as likely as everything else. | ||
