=_= couldnt agree more. comparing every character after the appearence of Itachi and Oro to them, they just seem less interesting, if not boring. I remember Jonin fights being interesting and rare, the longer the manga went, the less interesting and exciting fights of "stronger" characters became. Its even boring to see the hokage fight to anyone, because he/she seems utterly "weak" compared to others and "stronger" fights in about every 2nd chapter for like 200 chapters now. I always like Neji as a character and thought he has great potential - in fact, he is completly irrelevant for the manga for 300 chapters now, just like so many other characters, they are just being replaced by stronger ones. I dont know how one-piece did it, but its so exciting to see who could potentially be a new rookie, a new shichibukai and obviously an emperor or admiral - even now, 500 chapters after seeing the strongest pirates meet for the first time. I simply dont have this feeling with naruto, its sad :/

It used to be about good techniques, tactics involving the use of tai, nin, and genjutsus vs the arsenal of the enemy (and not that pseudo chemistry shit that Gaara pulled off), and development of characters that weren't superheroes. For the past several hundred chapters the fightings really just devolved into a fancier version of DBZ. Characters that were interesting before aren't even shown anymore. It's pretty disappointing to me

since th thread has been bumped anyway I advise everyone to watch the newest double episode of the anime, it's the special episode of the kushina flashback, 4th Hokage fucking rocks, dude deserves his own spinoff.
Haven't watched the anime for 4 months or so myself because of filler episodes but watched all of them in 3 days to catch up because of the current episodes haha.

He wasn't upset, that was just a pun. Sometimes the chapters come out on Tuesday (it's happened before where I live at least). So he believed it may have come out when he saw the thread bumped, and was disappointed it did not, hence "so BM".

Some offtopic shit: Hidan is dead.
When asked if Hidan has died, Kishi states that he starved to death, so there are means to kill Hidan. But obviously, this explanation isn't very convincing. But now that I think about it, Hidan really died of starvation, or more realistically of suffocation. It's because to maintain immortality, Hidan has to regularly make sacrifices to Jashin. I dont think we will see any chapter today.
Mangareader uses Mangastreams translation, if you look at the mark on the last page usually.
So no mangastream Naruto = no mangareader Naruto.
